I really wish that I could give it more, but I cannot, it wasn't my experience... The campsite itself is very good, the facilities are clean and relatively modern and really nice. the pitches are big, you can chose between a gravel pitch and grass pitch, there's a beach volleyball Court and a food cart that sells pasta dishes and beer. There's other washing facilities, which seemed equally nice, but only stayed one night, so didn't use then. Pitches are levelled, which is fantastic. The owners are very welcoming as well. However, terribly let down by the people that stay there. Because its such a homely place, people treat it as such and are very inconsiderate to other campsite users, which then ruins the experience to other people. It was 11pm and people were still driving out with caravans, kids running and playing about, people being generally loud and when you just want to chill and rest, this doesn't help.
If you have kids, it's very sociable for them and seems safe with plenty to keep them entertained. So I'd recommend it based on that. However if you are just a couple that want a tranquil night, then this is not the...
Read moreWe came across Bella Torino whilst spending a month touring France and Italy in our Camper van.|I believe this was definitely the best campsite we stayed at in Italy. We ended up calling back on our way home for a total of 5 days.|Hedged generous pitches, super clean toilets and showers, all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay in a camper or motorhome, as well as tent or caravan. As I review, a superb swimming pool is nearing completion. The site is in countryside with mountain views|But the best thing was the amazing team who ran the site, kind, polite, nothing too much trouble and multi lingual. They run a free minibus morning and evening to the local village for the bus into the beautiful city of Turin. We had a minor breakdown with something on the van, they arranged the garage for us, acted as a go between with us and the garage, and made sure all had gone well afterwards. You really felt that you were a part of their family whilst you were there. A big thanks to everyone on the team. |This is a great gateway site for touring Italy from the France direction, but you may find that you'll want to...
Read moreGood clean and safe place half an hour by car from Turin. Prices are ok and in the evening there is a kind of small mini restaurant and a long drink bar. There are shady pitches and very sunny ones. The sanitary facilities are clean. There is the possibility to wash your dirty clothes (for a fee). The owners are very friendly and always have an open ear for problems. A small drawback is the shuttle service. These are actually only trips to a bus stop nearby and only run in the morning and afternoon. So you can't stay in Turin until the evening. Taxis are very expensive to get there as it is very remote. About 80 euros just to the city centre. Nevertheless, highly recommended for passing through. We went to a concert in Turin and to save the cost of the taxi we drove there with our camper. Unfortunately, it was broken into at night and robbed. My recommendation. It is better not to drive into Turin with your own car or camper. The shuttle service from the campsite could be better.
Greetings and thanks again for...
