Bedandbreakfast Il Cigno Ligustico — Hotel in Pignone

My boyfriend and I stayed at Il Cigno Ligustico for two nights while visiting the Cinque Terre. It is a beautiful B&B, and obviously managed with great care. We thought it was an excellent value for those using a car to visit the Cinque Terre and other nearby attractions. Our room was perfect - it was immaculately clean, and thoughtfully and tastefully furnished. The building looked like it had been recently renovated. We were given Italian chocolates in our room which were a nice surprise. We made our reservation by e-mailing Ivan, whose mother runs the B&B. Ivan speaks very good English. He and his mother were so kind and welcoming; we are very thankful to them! Breakfast was amazing. Ivan's mother made homemade cakes that were delicious and authentic. We were also served plenty of coffee, juice, breads, jams, fruit, yogurt, and ham. Pignone is a small and safe town (only about 400 residents), and there is free parking in the square directly in front of the B&B. Riporto di seguito la valutazione di mia figlia: situata nel centro storico di Pignone (bellissimo borgo medioevale), il b&b si trova in posizione strategica per la facilità di raggiungimento delle Cinque Terre. La signora Milva, titolare della struttura, riserva un trattamento particolarmente raro e premuroso, verso gli ospiti: colazione abbondante e variegata (the, caffè, latte, cornetti, dolci fatti in casa, marmellata, nutella, succhi di frutta, pane fresco ogni giorno, ecc...) servita ai tavolini disposti di fronte alle meraviglie del borgo. Camere ben esposte e curate, pulite e dotate di bagno (comprensivo di phon, asciugamani, prodotti doccia). La signora Milva si è rivelata preziosa e dettagliata anche nel fornire suggerimenti sugli spostamenti e itinerari turistici (è comunque presente un punto informazioni in prossimità della struttura). De lieve gastvrouw Bella heeft ons uitstekend verzorgd. Na een hartelijk welkom hebben wij in een geweldig B&B verbleven. Heel netjes verzorgd, met genoeg ruimte. Alleen de douchecabine is wat aan de kleine kant, maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken. ||||De B&B ligt aan het karakteristieke centrale pleintje van het dorp waar de locals regelmatig gezellig samenkomen voor wat socialisatie. Voor de rest is het heerlijk rustig in het achterland van de het mooie Cinque Terre. Als je een eigen auto of huurauto tot je beschikking hebt is dit een ideale, rustige uitvalsbasis om de Cinque Terre te bezoeken. In een klein half uurtje ben je in Levanto vanwaar je de trein kan pakken om de dorpjes af te gaan. ||||Wij kunnen deze B&B een ieder aanraden. ||||Enige wat ik miste op de kamer is een kleine koelkast om wat drinken te koelen.
