I stayed here for 4 nights.||||Gianni is a truly wonderful host. He enjoyed pointing out nearby attractions with maps. He is also an entertaining piano player - plays all styles well. He also prepares breakfast (bakes wonderful cakes and makes great cappuccino). My room was large with a comfortable queen-sized bed. The bathroom was also spacious and everything was clean. Wifi was excellent - fast and reliable. Views from the B&B are spectacular. Outside, there are tables and chairs where you can sip on a glass or two of Tuscan wine and enjoy the beautiful panoramic scenery (see photos). Or you can relax on one of the two very large hammocks or go on a swing with a very long arc that Tarzan would enjoy.||||Breakfast was somewhat average compared to other B&B's I stayed in Tuscany and other places. Some slices of ham, yogurt, eggs (cooked to order), and coffee (made to order - I had cappuccino which was great), simple cornflakes, simple breads, and home made cakes. The fruit juice comes from a plastic bottle. And there wasn't any fresh milk. There's a fridge in the kitchen which you can share with other guests. Also a microwave oven. The few "fresh" fruits that were available were wrinkled, having sat around for a long time. But the bananas were good.||||Bathroom amenities were very sparse. There was a tiny tablet handsoap which I had to use for 4+ days. There were a couple of tiny tubes of shower shampoo which presumably was also intended as shower gel. A hairdryer is provided, and, of course, towels which were very good.||||There was a little bit of noise (bumping and footsteps) which seems to originate from upstairs. Fortunately, it was just for a short while. But you just have to hope that guests are considerate. You can hear occasional barking from some neighbor's dog.||||You'll definitely need a car to stay here - downtown Poggibonsi is some 6 km away. Nothing much to see in Poggibonsi but it's a great base for exploring the many attractions within an hour or so away - places like Certaldo, San Gimignano, Voltera, Gaiole, Arezzo, and, of course, Sienna. You can also drive to Florence in an hour. Alternatively, you can drive to Poggibonsi train station, leave your car in the large free parking area, and take the train to...

The host, Gianni, is truly exceptional. His warm hospitality and attention to detail make you feel at home from the very first moment. Don’t miss the chance to try their homemade olive oil – it’s absolutely delicious and unique.
One of the most unforgettable aspects of our stay was Gianni’s piano playing – he plays regularly, and his talent is truly mesmerizing. It felt like attending a private concert in the most picturesque setting imaginable.
