We stayed one night. Room and food was perfect. Caution! If you also stay there for one night, make sure that they make a copy of your ID. They totally forgot to give us ours back and we also didn't think for that because we never had to give them away. But in that case we had to drive back from our main residence @ Pisa area to the Trebbiolo the early morning of ours flight day. 3 hours stress before the flight. But to stay there for a week in silence or as mountain bikers this is the holy Gral

An absolutely amazing stay at this gorgeous villa/agriturismo! The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating, the food is mostly local from their own garden, the view is breathtaking... what else could you ask for? I have been here a few times and each time is just a confirmation of how marvelous this place is and makes you feel. See for yourself and you definitely will not regret it!!!

Pros (the main building): -big rooms, around 35m^2 and the height - somewhere around 3.5m). It has a big and comfortable bed and the furniture is quite old which makes you feel like you're living in the 17th century. The entire ceiling was painted which amplifies that feeling of living in a castle some hundreds of years ago. the breakfast was tasty - with local ingredients, they have some gardens with a lot of fruits and vegetables the pool is in a an olive garden and the sunbath chairs were placed under the these olive trees Cons: even the building was old, it should not have been dirty. The room was full of dust, the mini fridge available was so dirty I had to clean for 30 minutes befor using it, they didn't bring us toilet paper and soups, we asked for them twice and received the 2nd time we asked, but anyway the soups were missing. It's a shame they don't take care about this lovely place. even the breakfast was good and tasty, it happened something strange regarding it. It was buffet, but the staff served us, we had to stay in line and then ask for what we want and only the staff could fill the plates, we were just asking for the available types of food. This seems to be nice and polite at a first glance, but they were adding some mini quantities on those plates, if you have been asking for ham for instance, they would add a slice of it, at most two and if you asked for more, they felt so uncomfortable to add more, I've never experienced something like this before ! The same thing regarding the water, they didn't let you have an entire bottle - even though you would have finished it - you had to bring a small glass and they would pour you the water so if you wanted to drink ~500-600ml you had to ask 5 times fill up the glass, again .. very uncomfortable. Maybe they didn't let us to take our own food because of the pandemic but why so upset regarding the quantities ? the road is quite bad, we have a sport car and it was pretty hard to get to the location the dinner was pricey and not so good they couldn't speak English, it was very hard to get along with the them. There were 2 ladies which knew a bit of English and could have a short conversation with them, but it was very hard to discuss with any of the other employees. The room price was not low but also not too high, ~135 euro/night in August (because we have paid our entire stay beforehand, otherwise it would have been more than that). Overall it was a nice experience, a Toscana one, but we were so disappointed about the dirt..we could get over the weird attitude about the breakfast or other uncomfortable things, but...

Also Frühstück einfach Klasse.||||Nochmal würden wir dort...

I recommend you avoid this hotel! We stayed here when walking along the Via degli Dei as it is about a 25 minute detour from the trail. We did enjoy the swimming pool but that was about the only nice thing about this place.

Our room was in a separate building slightly down the road. As other reviews have mentioned, the room was quite dated and also not very clean. Worst of all, it didn't have wi-fi! What hotel (especially "4 star") doesn't have wi-fi in the room in 2023? The staff confirmed they didn't offer wi-fi in the room, and the wi-fi signal could only be accessed at the reception.

Because it is in the middle of nowhere the only food option was the hotel restaurant. We paid €30 for our meals which were probably the most disappointing food we had in Italy (vegetable pasta served cold). Also the included breakfast was only slices of cakes and coffee - no international breakfast items or anything savoury were offered. Not the breakfast you want for a day of hiking.

Finally, the staff were rude and unhelpful. When we arrived at the restaurant they just started bringing the food over without any explanation of our options or what was on the set menu of the day. They also got annoyed when I checked in as I'd used a booking app, and annoyed again when I asked about the wi-fi signal. Basically whenever I asked for anything they seemed annoyed. They clearly didn't want to be bothered - so I think you should respect their wishes, and stay at a...
