The best family holiday we have had in Europe! From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the lovely Valentina and whisked off on a golf buggy to the reception for a briefing on the site and then to our room. The bungalow was beautifully light and spacious and we had champagne on arrival. The hotel is luxurious but also so family friendly. The staff were superb and nothing was too much trouble. The resort is landscaped with lush tropical plants and trees. The pathways are nicely shaded and you can use bikes to get around, alternatively everywhere is easily accessible on foot. The beach has lovely fine golden sand and there is a concierge on hand to give you fresh towels. It doesn't feel crowded which I liked and there were plenty of sun-beds. The sea is so clear and lovely for a swim! There is a large choice of incredible restaurants. We used The Tiki Bar, Beachcomber and the Pizzeria for lunch, all with stunning beach views. We had dinner at Hotel Castello each night. The food was fantastic as was the wine! The ambience is relaxed but stylish, I particularly loved the pianist! Again the service was fantastic. The gelato is made on site and is to die for. We loved the choice of swimming pools too, from a heated pool near the Hotel Castello to the Aquapark with lots of slides. It was impossible for the children to get bored. There is a Wonderland area for children with a miniature town and kids club. The choice of sports and activities is vast, you can book into one of the many professionally lead sports academies or enjoy bowling, tennis, go karting etc as a family. The spa is stunning with a unique 6 pool experience, each one with a unique health benefit. There is also a nature park at the edge of the resort that the kids enjoyed. Nearby you can visit Pula or Nora, the hotel happily organised a car for us. There isn't much else in walking distance that we found though. This is just a fraction of what you can do there. It was such a fantastic holiday. The USP being that is is both luxurious for adults but also packed with things to keep all ages of children busy. We will...

A huge thank you for the management and staff at the Forte Village for making my stay one of the most memorable. I shall return to this stunning resort and can’t wait to be welcomed back with open arms.
100% disabled friendly!!
My Junior Suite was just spectacular, I use a mobility scooter and the hotel has gone above and beyond to help me making this a remarkable trip.
They organised extra Disbaled facilities to be added to not only the room but the hotel.

Read morewe were very impressed when checking into forte Village. We arrive just as dinner was about to end, and the staff quickly rushed us to have a meal even prior to checking us in knowing we had a long day of travel.
Upon checking in, we were upgraded from a Bouganville Booking to the Il Castillo bungalow. Which was absolutely lovely and spacious. The only negative thing I need to discuss is the plumbing sounds coming from the attached bungalow. Which woke me up each night numerous times it sounded like someone was banging a wrench on a pipe. When discussed with reception at checkout, they responded “ Were very very sorry about this” However, I feel for the price of the stay. It definitely disrupted our feel about the quality.
With our Bungalow, we were able to eat breakfast and dinner included at the buffet. The buffets food was always fresh. It was easy to get a table and the workers were working diligently on keeping everything looking top-notch.
For lunch, we ate at the Heinz Beck Beachcomber restaurant and they were very accommodating to my fish allergy. They also had a lovely salad buffet. We also ate at the pizza restaurant on the beach for lunch. The pizza had a great flavor, but was a bit soggy. They too had a salad buffet.
The pools are very beautiful. Easy to get a chair and off-season. The beach was also easy to get a chair in off-season but could see needing a reservation during busy season.
The gym facilities are incredible.
We want to send extra special Shout out to Laura Our bartender. We were actually very sad to leave and say goodbye to her. She is the best!!
