We stayed at Ju Furcia for seven nights in February 2015 and enjoyed all of the time we spent there. Klaus and Gabriella are running the hotel with their family and they are awesome hosts. They did whatever they could to satisfy all our needs and wishes. The hotel is located on top of the furcia mountain pass and the Furcia lift station is located just accross the street. The rooms on the one side of the hotel face the ski pists and you can enjoy perfect sunsets on the balconys. Gabriella makes awesome breakfast - you should definitely ask for the scrambled eggs and/or sunny side up with bacon... wow! - and even better dinner. There is no need to go for another restaurant in the evening as the selection of dishes offered (three different appetizers, three different main courses) is very delicious, too. Read moreWe stayed in Ju Furcia as a 3-generation family (children, parents and grandparents) and everyone was made very welcome and was catered for. For parents and grandparents there is a spa facility, for kids (ours are age 4 years and 10 months) a playroom with fusball table and toys. A wide selection of food at breakfast and delicious home cooked meals at dinner with a well supplied salad bar, refilled regularly, so you won't miss out even if you're not the first one through the door. ||The staff are most welcoming and very accommodating to all the needs you might have as a guest. ||The location is also excellent - you have a choice if two gondolas and a chairlift within a very short walking distance, which means you can be on the slopes in no time.||Would highly recommend it to anyone...
Read moreHUMANLY INADEQUATE. Zero stars. Me, my girlfriend, and her little sister had an emergency while skiing and got stuck in the slopes for almost 2 hours waiting to be rescued by the snow patrol. They were able to take us in proximity of the Hotel Furcia, where we had to wait 15 minutes for a taxi that would have taken us back to our hotel in San Vigilio. Hence, we entered the hotel bar and kindly asked if we could have waited there to stay warm, while outside the temperature recorded -8 degrees Celsius (20° F). The super rude Barman forbade us to walk in, and refused to help in any way, stating that “IT WAS NOT SO COLD OUTSIDE”. I do not know his name, but he is the guy that picked up the phone when we tried to call the hotel, so be aware of his rude and inhuman attitude before paying...
