Kronplatz is a very friendly place, great food, super-nice staff, cosy and comfortable. The facilities are basic but good (nice spa pool, saunas). Gym is not great, but who needs a gym when you're skiing. |Ski bus picks up at the front door and delivers right to gondola. Great mountain facilities including big heated lockers for boots and skis (right by gondolas and ski hire shops). Nice heated skibus waiting room with toilets at bottom of mountain. Great runs for beginner and intermediate skiers. Kindergarten up the mountain for little ones.|Our week here was the easiest ever in terms of logistics with two kids (6 and 9). |Staff at Kronplatz are very willing and helpful and immediately fixed a small problem with our room. We came as a group of 4 families and the kids loved it - good size for them to race around, play hide n seek, play in the games room etc. Staff were very happy for them to be playing throughout hotel. Highly recommended...
Read moreI cannot recommend hotel Kronplatz high enough! Our week there was fantastic. It is a family ran hotel and you can tell this right away from the whole vibe of the place. The atmosphere is very cozy and warm, feeling like home. The people who run it are simply amazing with great attention to everything - place, food, facilities, put a lot of effort in this place. You have everything and after ski you don’t need to go out as there is plenty to do like spa, bar and games. The room was very clean, spacious, quiet with very good internet. We were on a half board and the food was delicious with different options each day. I really enjoyed it and was pleasantly surprised when they remembered I don’t eat meat and prepared something specifically for me on the Austrian theme dinner as it was meat based. Thanks a lot for that. 🙏It was a pleasure to stay there and...
Read moreWildly overpriced. Service and facilities are of low quality for some of the highest prices in the area. You are welcome by a trashy second hand market with price tags everywhere. The only thing the owner tells you about the hotel is that you must not take away food from the (mediocre) breakfast buffet. Room not very clean (didn't even provide toiletries) and smell of cow poop all the time. Owner rudely addressed our children because they were playing in the backroom closet they call 'play room'. In the morning you can also hear him scream at his own child while you have breakfast. There is a decent garden but not easily accessible and very dirty. Dinner dishes and drinks are unbelievably expensive (not included) and prices are not always shown (costs more than michelin star restaurant on top of the mountain). Stay as far away as possible,...
