From the start, we had high expectations of our stay at the romantic village. We were not disappointed in any way. An added bonus is that Serena (host) is very engaging and accommodating. My group of 6 adults stayed for two nights, using this as a base for touring Cinque Terre. It worked great, and was worth the extra drive each day without question. We elected to do our own breakfasts and dinners, and the kitchen was adequately equipped ... though we probably missed out! Serena was very helpful with local directions for shopping, sightseeing, and whatever. In hindsight, we wished we could have stayed another day just to absorb the atmosphere of her place. It had a lot of character, and left an indelible impression on our whole Italian experience. I could see staying there for a week of total solitude and relaxation in the future. Thank you Serena!||Our visit dates: May...
Read moreSerenella is an absolutely wonderful bed and breakfast. The host, Serena, made it even more enjoyable. Communication and booking with Serena was great from the very beginning. She was incredibly kind and helpful. Serena offered my Mother and I maps of the surrounding area of Cinque Terre and provided tips on travelling and parking. The bed and breakfast itself was gorgeous, extremely well-maintained, clean, and bright. Serena was flexible regarding check-in/ check-out times and prepared a very nice breakfast each morning tailored to the requests of her guests. ||||Her place is about a 15 minute drive to the major train station at La Spezia from where you can easily travel between Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterosso al Mare. I would recommend her bed and breakfast...
Read moreWe enjoyed our 3 day 2 night stay. Owner Serena is a charming and most helpful. Serena recommended that we take a boat tour from La Speza to Cinque Terre. It was outstanding. Serena also recommended we hike the former railline between Levanto to Bonassola. The views along the way were spectacular. The cool air in the former railway tunnel was refreshing.||||The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. The heated towel rack in the bathroom is a niced touch. Serena and her mom made a fresh apple cake for breakfast which was delicious.||||While Serenella B & B is about a 15 minute drive from La Spezia and a 20 minute drive from Cinque Terre, it has good signage and is easy to find.||||This is great value at 60 euro per night for 2 people!||||Rick Hesp, St. Catharines,...
