ELBADOC Camping Village — Hotel in Rio

We went too early in the year for this place and they where still getting prepared for the season, myself and my wife prebooked a two berth bungalow, on arrival we where shown to a very small wooden hut with a very small kitchen with a two burner hotplate and two folding wooden chairs, a small bedroom with a double bed and a toilet/shower room, in the bedroom there are no wardrobes or cupboards to put clothes only a hook on the wall with three coat hangers and a couple of small shelves at each side of the bed, as we looked around in dismay wondering where to empty our suitcase the electricity tripped off and then continued to do this every few minutes, we called for assistance but they where unable to trace the fault.||||We asked if it would be possible to move to a bigger bungalow, this was agreed if we paid an extra 16 Euros a day which we did, this gave us a wardrobe and a spare bedroom for storage.||||The electricity on our part of the site went off three times during the week we where there and we had to find someone to report the fault and get it put back on again. the Wi Fi for the internet spent more time not working than it did working but we were not charged for it.||||On the plus side the owners and staff are very friendly and helpful, the restaurant serves fresh home cooked food which is excellent, at the time we were there no menu was available they appear to buy local seasonal food which gives a very limited choice, the site is in a very quiet location and only a short walk to Cavo, later in the season I am sure it is a lovely place to spend a holiday, at the time we went it was just too early and not warm enough as all the bungalows appear to be designed for living outdoors and just using them to cook and sleep in.||||Would we go again?, certainly not early or late in the year, in the summer...

Ma lasciate che vi spieghi la "meravigliosa" esperienza con queste persone, educate e disponibili senza dubbio per quanto riguarda la reception e il centralino che hanno fatto del loro meglio per gestire la situazione, ma che sicuramente pecca al livello gestionale, motivo per cui io e la mia compagna abbiamo perso diversi soldi

Tutto inizia con una semplice prenotazione fatta dalla mia compagna ( spagnola e quindi in lingua) tramite booking, dove si è vista recapitare una mail di conferma per una "habitacion", STANZA nella loro struttura, e ripeto STANZA! ( Mail che raffigurava anche una struttura in legno oltre la loro mappa e anche l'avviso che il pagamento sarebbe stato effettuato in loco).

Successivamente, la mia compagna ha notato che il pagamento ( piú di 140€ su un tot di 170 ) venne prelevato PRIMA della partenza. Non proprio carino come gesto visto che solitamente non si trattiene quasi il 80% della somma, ma ok..non ci abbiamo dato peso.

Il bello arriva quando io, il giorno prima di partire, chiamo la struttura per qualche domanda inerente a cosa portare con me, cose che magari non avrei trovato nella stanza ecc... Come risposta ricevo che il mio alloggio è una TENDA con i bagni in comune..

Chiedo spiegazioni a riguardo e mi rimpallano al telefono svariate volte

anche perchè con la tenda avrei dovuto comprare l'occorrente per starci, e, sommando anche il loro prezzo mi sembrava un po tantino per una tenda! (e questo alle 12 circa del giorno PRIMA della partenza!)

Preoccupati, ci mettiamo a guardare altre sistemazioni e una volta trovata la soluzione, tra l'altro molto migliore, in un BILOCALE allo stesso prezzo della loro tenda, dovevamo solo dire alla struttura in maniera gentile " grazie per lo spavento e ridateci i soldi che non dovevate prendere.. "

Ma ovviamente non andò come sperato, in quanto, prima la receptionist ci ha detto che è un disguido di booking e non loro e poi, che se volevamo, potevo spendere "SOLO" altri 70€ e avrei avuto ad uno "sconto eccezionale" il bangalow.

Allora visto che era "a detta loro" un problema di booking, abbiamo contattato il sito ( tre volte) il quale per tre volte, spiegando l'accaduto era daccordo sul farci riavere i soldi senza nessuna penale, semplicemente avviando una procedura in merito e avvisando la struttura, che qualora acconsentisse, non avremmo avuto problemi di nessun tipo a riavere la somma. ( Cosa che speravamo, visto il dialogo che avevamo con la struttura, che "sembrava" avesse compreso la situazione).

Quindi all'ennesima chiamata con il camping, ho riportato cio che mi avevano da booking detto e... Magia..

"Ci dispiace non possiamo fare nulla"

Questa è la prima volta che scrivo un feedback negativo su una struttura, un po per rispetto per il lavoro altrui un po perchè comunque le "giornate no" possono capitare a tutti, ma vedermi derubato in questo modo non lo accetto e spero che questa mia "donazione" verso la vostra Tenda e il mio commento facciano in modo che ogni persona possa leggere questo scritto e fare le loro riflessioni.

Detto questo per quanto mi riguarda spero che non sia capitato anche ad altri e che dire ad una coppia " è colpa di booking" quando non lo è, non vi fa onore.

Dovreste avere piu rispetto per chi vi da lavoro ( booking per la clientela e i turisti...

This camping is a horrible place. First of all..the way to the camping is non-hard, so it is full of holes and hard to bycicle or walk with all your suitcases. The website promise a lot... There should be an bar, a restaurant, an shuttleservice and minimarket.... But none of all we found there!!! The minimarket, bar andere restaurant were closed (!!) and we wait for one houre for someone tot drive our suitcases to the harded road because there was so much mudd on the road. None of the employees showed up.... Work people saw us waiting, they did nothing..

Then the house we reservated was extremely simple and small. Also dirty, not enough cleansed and small animals walk in the bed.

We payed € 130,00 for two nights. Therefor we had to bring EVERYTHING our own... For the bed, bathroom and kitchen.

The last night it was raining whole the time. We find out the roof of the house is simple plate. The noise of the raining en drupps fall out the trees were driving everyone crazy, none of us sleep that night.

The buildings are non isolated, very very noisy and the air full of water.

We absoluty not advise anyone...
