Staying here has been a true pampering experience. The hotel somehow has a very warm and cozy feeling, and is owned by a small Italian family, all of which are extremely kind and attentive to guests. Our favourite was Filippo at the reception, who is very kind and warm and who was able to help us with finding a ski school and with tons of other local recommendations. He kindly gave us a choice between the available rooms when we checked out, so we were able to choose the one we liked the most.
The room itself was huge (as are I think all of their rooms) and had a large balcony with an open view to the gorgeous Alps. The street was far enough that the traffic noise was unperceivable. There was a large round table in a conservatory-style opening with large windows - truly a place where you enjoyed spending time.
The real highlight however was the spa! Tucked in our bathrobes, we'd just take the lift to the basement, where an attentive member of staff would give you all that you needed, and then discreetly allowed us to enjoy. The spa is large enough to have the essential elements (Finnish sauna, steam bath, tea corner, large resting room with chaise-longues, and a large extremely modern jacuzzi tub), but small enough that it felt private. Indeed, the space was hardly ever full, so it always felt cozy and unobtrusive. The lovely fragraces from the spa were always coming up to the main hallway and even up to our room - a true feel-good factor!
The breakfast here was also one of the highlights. Attentively looked after by one of the lady-members of the family, and using fresh and quality ingredients, this was truly a great start to each day.
The ski area was only 4 minutes by car, and walking to the gorgeous Alleghe lake and village was also very much within reach, as there is a separate pedestrian footpath on the side of the road. Less importantly for us but still worth mentioning, the Wifi reception was great, and there was a large screen TV with many channels.
The price (we had a spa-access package) was definitely very well worth the services we got, and there is no doubt we'd like to be back. This was a classic "5-star" experience, I wish more of these...
Read moreWe had the most incredible stay in Hotel La Maison. We really enjoyed impeccable and extremely friendly service, comfortable and clean rooms and overall hotel grounds.
First of all, we have to thank Martina for greeting us with a smile every morning, we loved breakfasts in La Maison, there was always variety of delicious food and selection did not feel boring even though we spent over two weeks there.
Secondly, Alessandra and her family made us feel at home and were always available to assist! Alessandra and her family always smiled, greeted us and chatted with us. This is how I expect impeccable customer service to be and after staying in over 15 hotels/Airbnbs all over the world in the past year, I can honestly say that I have not experienced this level of professionalism and friendlinest at the same time anywhere else!
Location is great, we loved going for walks to nearby waterfall, exploring Alleghe and around and it was a good starting point for exploring other Dolomite sights nearby such as San Pellegrino area, Passo Giau, 5 Torri, Passo Falzarego (within 30mins by car) and other sights further in stunning Dolomites.
We spent considerable time by the heated pool and it was the best relaxation, it was a bit too busy during weekends (we stayed in July), but extremely clean, supervised so parents can relax a bit and serviced, so Aperol or other drinks by the pool were guaranteed :-D
Thanks to everyone who made our summer unforgettable memory that we will cherish for a long time, Eliska,...

The spa, a serene sanctuary, offered the perfect escape for relaxation. The treatments were expertly executed, and the ambiance was soothing. It was a blissful retreat after a day of sightseeing.
Now, onto the culinary experience - simply exquisite! Each dish was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The drinks were equally impressive, with a carefully curated selection that catered to every taste.
But what truly impressed us was the attention to detail, including the well-stocked mini bar in our room. It was a thoughtful touch that added an extra layer of comfort and convenience to our stay.
In conclusion, La Maison exceeded our expectations in every way. It's a place we will eagerly return to as we feel like family, knowing that we'll be greeted with the same warmth and hospitality that made our stay so special. If you're looking for a truly exceptional experience, look no further...
