One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in our stint in Italy. Firstly, there is free parking outside the hotel, though slots are limited.
The reception desk is also very helpful and gave us a lot of advice regarding places we wanted to visit, including showing us webcams of the weather on the big computer screen at the reception.
We also received 7 day free bus pass around the area.
For the rooms, they were very clean and comfortable. Toilets were weirdly lit in blue light, but it’s no bother. Bed was really comfortable, even though it’s 2 single beds pushed together instead of a double bed.
We encountered a small issue with the blinders in our room - we were given a room with no blinders and after 2 rounds with reception they changed rooms for us for room with blinders. Swift recovery.
Lastly, breakfast spread was amazing. One of the most elaborate spreads in all the hotels we’ve stayed in Europe so far. A lot of choices and they replenish them quickly too. I liked the breakfast dessert choices like cakes and tarts, as well as the fruits and yogurt.
Overall great hotel to stay and I’ll definitely stay here again when we visit...
Read moreGreat hotel and very modern design. It's very simple and offers a no frills stay. breakfast was plentiful and buffet style but coat 13.50€ per person. The selections were really good though so you get your money's worth. Don't expect fancy amenities like an exercise room or a pool. The rooms are also quite bare bones with only the essentials. Anything extra requires payment. The front desk isn't staffed 24/7 so when we checked in at 10 PM we had to check in via the lock box and a code provided on WhatsApp. It was unconventional and since we didn't have cell reception I didn't get the message in time for arrival. There was phone for service available so we did eventually checked in no problems. The real major flaw we had with our stay is the curtain doesn't fully block out light so if you like sleeping in dark room then this is not going to happen here. The floor is also very thin so we can hear the foot steps of the neighbors upstairs and next door. Otherwise it was a good, economical place to stay while...
Read moreThe hotel is not in the main town of Santa Christina. It is thankfully just off the main Val Gardena road, which is so busy you almost want to call it a highway. Matt was very nice and informative and helpful. The restaurant staff were lovely. Breakfast is very good and the restaurant food is very good. The rooms are TINY! And only one pillow per person and they are so tiny . Also the bath towels feel threadbare! We were in a so-called triple room, but it's actually a TINY double room with a third bed shoved in. Considering the fact that you ski there, there is one TINY cupboard for 3 occupants with winter clothing! The bathroom has a tiny glass ledge for three people to share! Also, there is no tea and coffee making facilities in the room as there is no space. Our room had no view. We looked into a wall. Wifi was not great. You have to pay E5 to wash your laundry and another E5 to use the tumble drier. To get to the laundry room, you have to walk outside in the snow! Then walk through the smelly...
