Hotel Tianes — Hotel in Salten-Schlern - Salto-Sciliar

We arrived at the hotel on a motorcycle and were greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist. who suggested that as there was no garage for our motorcycle we park it under the portico where it would be sheltered.||Our room was beautiful with a lovely over the valley to mountains. It had a great shower, mini bar and safe. There was a nice seating area and a large balcony.||A nice touch was that all the information in our room was in English.||We arrived on a Sunday to find that it was the night for the 7 course gala dinner. This was superb as was all the food at the hotel. Our waiter Fabio was extremely helpful and friendly and spoke excellent English as well as German and Italian as did all the staff.||We automatically were given an English menu on our table each night.||Breakfasts were extensive with a wide variety of different things each day. Eggs were cooked to order and scrambled eggs and omelettes had fillings of your choice.||The wine list was extensive and ranged in price from a very nice house chardonnay for 8 euro for a half litre upwards.||As part of our package afternoon cakes were included and were delicious.||There are a number of walks that can be done from the hotel and we were loaned a set of walking poles for our excursions. There is a bus stop near the hotel as the walk back from Castelrotto is up a steep hill.||The indoor and outdoor pools are excellent and sunbeds, umbrellas and towels are available along with slippers and bath robes.||We had a very pleasant week at the hotel and will return in the future. We can happily recommend the hotel to anyone.||A major plus for us was that the hotel is situated at an altitude of 1200 meters and was consequently a few degrees cooler than the valley below and is much more comfortable...

Location situata in una splendida posizione ! Camera pulita e ben insonorizzata! Colazione e cena ben organizzate, anche se il buffet andava rinnovato più spesso è arricchito sia a colazione che a cena con specialista del posto e con più formaggi di malga e marmellate varie !!!! Ottima cantina e cibo molto fresco ! Carne buona e possibilità di variare L offerta se c’è qualcosa di non gradito! Preparano a richiesta pranzo al sacco con panini e frutta che ha un prezzo ottimo ed è comodo X le escursioni! Se volete restare in piscina e avete voglia di un buon piatto di canederli in brodo , potete farvi coccolare nell’accogliente Stube!! Regalano la Guest Card che consente L uso dei mezzi gratis ( fermata bus proprio fuori allo chalet e la card nn è per le cabinovie ovviamente). Organizzano escursioni di ogni tipo e ben seguite ! Forse andrebbero rinnovati i materassi almeno quello della suite che avevamo noi!!(307) e offerti più teli accappatoio in puro cotone al 100% xke, su due uno era di poliestere ( anche no)! Piscina indoor che si collega a quella outdoor bella e con acqua calda al punto giusto! Ecco una nota dolente è che andrebbe gestita meglio La piscina e la sua aerea relax, nel senso che quando Valeria è impegnata nell aerea beauty, ci vorrebbe qualcuno che faccia tenere i toni delle urla dei bimbi e dei genitori più bassi ! Nn è un acquapark e il tutto andrebbe ricordato con toni più rigidi perché tutti paghiamo e tutti necessitiamo di relax ! Sicuramente una animatrice per i bimbi o un area X i bimbi gestita meglio aiuterebbe al rispetto del silenzio collettivo ! Manca a mio avviso la frutta secca nell aria relax e la filodiffusione ma sono sicura che provvederanno visto che è un pensiero generale! Devo dire inoltre che il Personale è FANTASTICO, gentile e sempre attento alle esigenze del cliente !!! Ringraziamo Michela suo fratello Alex ed Alina che sono i camerieri di sala e che sono il vero cuore dello chalet, le signore delle camere precise e discrete e Valeria che con la sua dolcezza e la sua maestria e competenza e’ la curatrice del centro benessere ed esecutrice di massaggi rigeneranti! La famiglia Piccolruaz cortese anche se un po’ troppo formale, come dicevo, è fortunata ad avere un ottimo personale perché è tutto l’ insieme a risultare molto rilassante ( ma deve far rispettare maggiormente le regole ai genitori di bimbi un po’ troppo urlanti) Dimenticavo : la terrazza esterna, sopra la piscina , è incantevole e raffinata !!! Offrono al pomeriggio torte e crostate varie di loro produzione!! Consiglio a chi deve soggiornare di rispettare il silenzio è la pace in ogni angolo dello chalet … la famiglia Piccolruaz si adopera nel rendere tt gradevole ma deve migliorare nel far rispettare le regole , affinché sia tt perfetto ma anche il cliente deve fare la propria parte e purtroppo noi nn abbiamo avuto la fortuna di soggiornare con alcuni ospiti educati…. ( per fortuna non tutti erano cafoni e urlatori) Non sempre avere una grande auto o abiti firmati è sintomo di educazione e rispetto!!! Avvicinarsi ai tavoli di amici e dare la schiena ad altri che sono a tavola è da cafoni e maleducati!!! Quindi chalet consigliato e sono sicura che ci ritornerò perché merita , ma anche il cliente DEVE FARE LA PROPRIA PARTE !! Lo chalet ospita anche gli amici a 4 zampe che sono sicuramente meglio degli esseri umani ed è un servizio a pagamento che è molto apprezzato! Nonostante ciò, le camere che hanno la moquette sono pulite e almeno la mia nn aveva odori sgradevoli!! Ringraziamo quindi la famiglia e il personale dello Chalet Tianes...

We could not fault this amazing gem which we selected as our skiing/new year celebration family holiday. We wanted somehwere which had something for everyone in our wide range age bracket and this place definitely had it all! Great clean well designed rooms, amazing restaurant with a talented chef, great spa with indoor/outdoor pool and a shuttle bus to get us to the slopes. Very friendly Owners and staff who were most attentive to all of our needs throughout our stay. The Chef was alsways happy to adjust the menu offering for our 4 year old yet the rest of us were indulging every evening into the delicious innovative cuisine supported by a great wine list! We travel a lot for business worldwide and Chalet Hotel Tianes meets all our criteria and experiences with ease - Bravo!||Something to mention which is a testament to the staff working there - my wife forgot in the room a very expensive ring which we only realised being back home 2 days later. We called the Hotel and were told that the ring has been found and is now stored in the safe and ready to be shipped back to us! ||Needless to say we will be back again this year as the entire stay was...
