When we arrived at “Poggio Ai Santi” I knew it was going to be special.||The property is amazing and you clearly arrive in paradise.||The team there is absolutely out of this world.||The kindness, the hospitality, the proper service and manners , the smiles , the attention they give you is amazing; it’s like being home.||The owner , Francesca, is always there and has an expert eye on everything and she has this kindness and openness which is soo highly appreciated.||At the reception you have the wonderful Miriam , always eager to help and so very professional in everything she does and say.||She is such a wonderful lady!||Eva and Andrea too are so nice and have been wonderful with us all, meaning my partner and my dogs .||This place is definitely a paradise for dogs as well. We met so many people with dogs themselves and that made us create a special bond with some of them. ||At the restaurant we had two great “maître “ Luca and Damiano who assured we had a great time.||The waitresses and waiters were all amazing, thank you dear Serena, Gabriele, Gabriel ,Paolo and Sara. I want to thank as well Ekaterini (Catherine) at the grill. It was such a pleasure to meet a Greek compatriot!||For breakfast I want to thank Cristina and Daniela, a pure pleasure to the ears and soul with the Brazilian accent and kindness .||For the bar thanks to Giulio, Federico Andrea , Marco and Cinzia.||||Thank you Francesca for putting up this amazing place for us all coming to Poggio Ai Santi. I have spent a week of pure joy and happiness and leaving with an immense sense of gratitude!||We will be back this is a promise.||With much love for all of you ||Matt , Gipsy, Hatchi and Christine...

We chose Poggia Santi because its site promises “luxury” in the english version and Booking.com bills it as a “Boutique Hotel – Adults Only.” Paying €1 300 for two nights, we expected genuine high-quality. What we actually found was an agriturismo with a few premium touches.|What we enjoyed|• Bungalow & bathroom – Tasteful décor, and the bathroom is truly superb.|• Dinner staff – Warm and professional.|• Homemade products – Excellent house-baked bread and their own olive oil are definite highlights.|• Setting – Lovely gardens and sea view create a very relaxing atmosphere. Nice swimming pool area.|• Dogs friendly|What let us down|• Dust-track arrival – Access is a long, unsurfaced farm road; our car finished the trip looking like it had crossed the Sahara, and a 4×4 is clearly mandatory. No hint of this when booking.|• Value versus price – At €650 per night we expected top-tier service:|• Mussels were “sold out” at dinner, then reception implied we’d misheard.|• Cocktails were far too strong. We asked to switch to wine—of course we still paid in full, but the bartender could at least have offered to adjust the drinks.||• Housekeeping – The room looked fine at first glance, but cleaning was only middling: lots of dust in corners and on surfaces—certainly not luxury standard.||Poggia Santi could shine if it branded—and priced—itself as an up-graded agriturismo instead of a luxury hotel. Right now, the marketing sets expectations the property can’t meet at €1 300.||This feedback is shared solely to help improve the guest...

Oh… my… god…. This hotel is simply amazing!…. How on earth it’s listed as a 3 star, I have absolutely no idea!… we loved it so much, after our 3rd night (we’d booked a 5 night stay) we added another night! (We had to change rooms, but the hotel made it all so seamless and efficient, we hardly noticed)

All the guests and staff were so respectful and quiet (massively helps they have a no children policy!)… the whole area from dining to relaxing by the pool, was just that, relaxing!

Every direction you look there are amazing panoramic views, which gets you grabbing for your camera!

The breakfasts, lunches and dinners (two options of restaurants) are so unbelievably good. All the food is either locally sourced or homegrown on their farm.

We stayed in one of the ‘glamping tents’. With its own private pool and kitchen facilities, it was a private retreat, within the hotel grounds. The views, interior design and cleanliness were all of the highest quality…. It took a night to adjust to the ‘natural’ outdoor noises, but hey, it’s camping (kinda!)

Honestly, I can’t rave about this hotel anymore… and again, why on earth the 3...

This place is a treasure, and was one of my favorite hotel stays of all time. We stayed here after a wedding near Siena, wanting to explore more of the coast. Upon arrival, we were greeted by two friendly pups and a lovely reception staff. After a caffe and a brief tour of the beautiful property and gardens, we were brought to our room which was clean, spacious, and peaceful. We spent the afternoon napping by the pool, then took a lovely bath and got ready for dinner. The restaurant … WOW ! Incredible meal, I will be dreaming about the chicken liver pâté, it was excellent. We also had a warm caprese, a seafood linguine, duck ragu, fish, and stuffed zuchinni flowers. Dessert was a light, delicate panna cota. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the waiter helped us choose an excellent San Giovese wine to pair it. We had a drink at the bar after dinner, which was well stocked and had such a cool vibe. After an amazing nights sleep, we had a delicious breakfast spread of homemade jams, nut butters, breads, meats and cheeses. My only regret is only staying one night, this place is amazing!

This was our second stay at this magical hotel resort and we enjoyed it even more than the first time. The setting is absolutely splendid, sitting way up on a hill overlooking the Med and the town of San Vincenzo. The accommodation is first class, split between the villa and outer buildings. A wonderful rambling garden, planted and nurtured with feeling. Great food and nice wine list. The bar offers delicious cocktails and local beer and best of all a barbecue. Service from the staff is friendly and very professional. The owners Francesca and Dominique have created a relaxed atmosphere which really allows you to enjoy your stay. They are nice people, as is demonstrated by their love of animals and there are plenty of four-legged friends around. We have already planned a third visit in the coming months!
