Wedding Location-Masseria Quadrelli — Hotel in Sanarica

JUST BOOK THIS PLACE. SERIOUSLY!

We stayed here as a group of 22.... that's right 22 people, to celebrate the combined 50th birthdays of my wife and I. Every couple had their own beautiful and spacious room with an ensuite. The pool and common areas are nothing short of spectacular. Very Gram-worthy!

Masseria Quadrelli is expertly run by owner, Marzio and his warm, friendly and exceptionally professional team. They were the perfect balance of attentive and respectful of our privacy.

I must make extra special mention of Paola, who was in charge of our booking. She was my organisation wingman - always just a WhatsApp message away, she helped me to book (and modify, sometimes at the last minute) transport, excursions, restaurants and organised long lunches and breakfasts for us at the villa (highly recommended - and with a big shout out to Ramona, Simone and the kitchen team who looked after us so beautifully!)

Paola even organised the alcohol purchasing for our group, including a Peroni tap....and when we ran out (which I'm ashamed to say was more than once).... a quick message to Paola, and like magic - the fridge was restocked the next morning. Paola really took all of the stress out of wrangling a large group of people for me.

The villa is kind of in the middle of nowhere, so we were able to have the music blasting well into the wee hours of the morning with no complaints, which of course we did on numerous occasions..... because of this, the one thing I would note though, is that you either need to have your own transport to be able to go anywhere, or like us, organise group bus excursions (with the help of Paola) on the days you want to explore - also great because no-one needs to worry about having a few drinks and driving - and then have the villa staff cater for you on the days you want to stay by the pool.

Masseria Quadrelli really is such a fabulous place to stay for a large group of friends, with just the right amount of comfort and luxury, and a great pool party vibe. We hope to stay there again, and recommend it...

We originally planned our wedding here for 2020, which was then postponed several times until June 2022. Throughout the whole postponing process, the host Paola was incredibly helpful and accommodating.

We finally got to spend our wedding week at the Masseria and it was everything we hoped for and more. The rooms are beautiful and huge (the photos don’t do them justice) at the Masseria and grounds stunning, particularly the pool area!

The hosts (Paola on email and Ramona and Georgia at the Masseria) were beyond helpful. Paola arranged so many of my wedding plans for me, including the flowers and cake, and the catering was incredible. We also had catering on several other days including the best homemade lasagne! Georgia and Ramona helped me arranged all of the drinks for the wedding day and the shop helpfully delivered these, and they also arranged a hire car for us at a fraction of the cost than hiring it through the airport. They also sorted out all transfers for our guests, and did a food shop for us to have there ready on arrival.

The owner was also extremely accommodating, the weather was very hot and there weren’t any parasols around the pool so I asked for some and they delivered some brand new ones the next morning.

The kitchen is well equipped and there are 3 large fridge freezers which is very useful when you have 26 guests.

A few suggestions that would make it slightly easier, a floor plan of the venue would be useful as the Masseria is very big and this would make it a bit more simple in understanding the layout. Also a very minor detail but none of the rooms had hand soap which I think should be provided just like towels and toilet roll are provided.

Our stay at Masseria Quadrelli exceeded all of our expectations! I tear up writing this review just thinking about how magical and memorable it was. We booked this villa for 19 people and had a small wedding with our closest friends. Paola and her staff went above and beyond to make our day special. They referred us to a DJ and vintage rental car service and helped coordinate the bookings. We had a casual pizza dinner the first night we arrived and a full appetizer buffet/plated dinner on the wedding day. They even decorated the table on the first night for our pizza a party! The food was so good and the best part was they left the leftovers for us to munch on the next day so we had endless food during our stay! They also made a delicious Italian cake and gave us sparklers for the cake cutting.

Prior to us traveling, they were highly organized and communicative, they even provided a full power point of the wedding day schedule. With out them, it wouldn’t have been as organized. I trusted their recommendations for food and was pleased that I got to request what my flower bouquet looked like (and what they made was so beautiful!!).

We spent 4 nights so everyone would have enough time to settle in and relax. The space felt private and secluded. The surrounding area is beautiful and so affordable compared to other parts of Italy and Europe. I would 1000 times go back and recommend this stay for anyone whether it’s a wedding, family vacation, or small...
