Hotel Panoramique — Hotel in Sarre

The view from the room and huge external balcony was truly spectacular. The hotel is on the north slope of the Aosta Valley with views over the city towards the mountains of the Gran Paradiso nature reserve. The hotel has been constructed so that every room has a large balcony and that view. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - we speak little Italian but good French and enjoyed using it during our stay (Val D'Aoste is officially bilingual in French), although our host's English was excellent. Breakfast was included in the good room rate and was fine. This is definitely a hotel requiring your own transport - it's located in Sarre, up steep roads, around 15 minutes drive from Aosta. If you expect a fancy hotel you will be disappointed, Panoramique is certainly not fancy, but everything you need is there.||Big room with a balcony overlooking the Val d 'aosta and although the roads, both highway and SS road it is very quiet. Rooms are clean and also is the bathroom.||The owner is very friendly and is speaking also French and English.||There is a set menu for the evening, do not expect "haut cuisine". Breakfast is as most of the times in Italy and France. The roomprice is inclusive breakfast and is reasonable.||||The hotel is not easy to reach and bad indicated if you come from below. The Hotel Panoramique is on the top of a hill in Sarre, just minutes away from Aosta's city center. It is a very decent 3 star hotel with spacious rooms and amazing views of the Aosta valley. We decided to have dinner there and it is really worth it, the food was very good, as was the breakfast buffet. All staff was very nice, and the general atmosphere in the property was very quiet.
