Casa Winther — Hotel in Spoleto

This house has it all. Beautifully and tastefully decorated, with all comforts. The house is surrounded by olive trees and has windows on all sides. This makes you enjoy the 360 view everywhere. We rented the house in June 2022 via 'Casa In Italia', which we can highly recommend.

Besides all the basic appliances, there is also a washing machine, dryer and iron. The house has a pizza oven and barbecue facilities. It has three terraces so guests can enjoy each side of the house. There are mountain bikes available, people who want to hike around the house will certainly find what they are looking for!

The house has a large infinity pool with a small children's pool on the side. When you swim, you can enjoy the beautiful landscape as if you are totally in it.

From Casa Winther you can visit the beautiful surrounding villages like Montefaclo, Spoleto, Spello, Trevi and also Asisi and Perugia. These are all within less than an hour's drive.

I recently completed a one-week stay. My experience is as follows: nice location with great views, quiet and peaceful, nice pool. However, the place shows signs of poor maintenance, with many things not working: the sauna was defective/did not work (and was not fixed during our stay), defective outdoor lights, major water leakage through the roof/wall during heavy rain, worn and 'flimsy' kitchen utensils, bicycles without brakes, old worn sunbeds, damaged tiles here and there, leaking toilet, water leakage into the garage with a strong mold smell. Also, a bit of a bad smell from the bedding with increased humidity.

Therefore, the place should be upgraded to justify the price...
