Il Grande Blu — Hotel in Terracina

You can enjoy privacy and won't have problems with social distancing. Marcello, the owner, is very helpful and kind, always willing to help his hosts have the most relaxing, trouble-free stay. And, last but not least, Terracina is a charming little Italian pearl: it has a beautiful promenade by the seaside, an ancient roman city center with astonishing view, shops and restaurants. I enjoyed my stay so much. Kudos to Marcello the host, he introduced me to this jewel of a place, an elegantly simple and functional space where no detail is by coincidence, starting with the the floor tiles - having different colors from the entrance to the rooms to mimic sand first then shallow water next and ultimately deep water. Other little details such handmade cakes for breakfast, USB wall sockets, a wide shower plate, a spacious balcony or flawless cleanliness - just to mention a few - made the rest. Only about 150 meters away from the seaside - which is always within sight from the balcony - Il Grande Blue is conveniently located and at the same time nested in a quieter away from traffic noise. A few steps from the beach in a very quiet location, a nice stroll on the seaside to the city center, this B&B stole my heart for the friendly and helpful approach of the owner (Marcello), the abundant and varied breakfast (including some home made cakes, fresh fruits and coffee/teas), comfort and decoration of the room (high level of cleaning, A/C, Wi-fi and massive bathroom with all amenities). During my holiday I had no concern whatsoever and I manage to get a transfer from Rome to Terracina and back organized by Marcello, which made my journey much easier.
