Teulada is a small town and obviously not the prime tourist location in Sardegna. This hotel takes the seclusion even a little further by being 3 or 4km away from anything. ||||The concept of private apartments is interesting, although in reality each ‘block’ has 4 connected apartments and if you stay at the right side, the neighbor on the left can oversee your balcony as his floor level is a little higher than yours (a little odd). ||||The room is small, so it’s the TV. The shower area has good space and the bed was comfortable. The room include an A/C and a mini fridge but the bonus is, of course, the balcony with a view. The internet is good (I believe it’ s a 10MB connection) and I think it’s the type of hotel more suitable for couples. I’ve stay only two nights on a ‘connecting’ trip between Bosa and Villasimius. ||||One important thing to mention is the fact the hotel has a restaurant. Being apart from the city this is convenient. I’ve tried a fish menu on my first night and it as pretty good. The breakfast was also generous. Overall a nice place in case you either have a reason for staying in Teulada OR want to get away from the crowds...
Read moreWe were supposed to stay 1 or 2 nights but we wound up staying 7. The establishment is in the mountains overseeing the sea in the distance. It got cool at night so we didn't need the air conditioning. You need a car to access the beautiful surrounding beaches ( 1 more beautiful than the next) It is family run, Mother (made all fresh cakes that were all part of buffet breakfast), Father, did all the grounds keeping, and 3 sons who did the cooking, shopping, front desk etc. We had dinner there every night because the food was fresh(if you like seafood and wine you will not be disappointed), and plentiful. The owners and wait staff was the friendliest. Dining was always al'fresco. I would go back in...
Read moreThe place itself is nice when you arrive with small porch in front of each room and a small swimming pool but you're not going to enjoy sitting outside too much as there are countless mosquitoes everywhere and they don't seem to be bothered by repelents. Bathrooms are small (at least in the economy room), there's no space to move in the shower. Water in the sink is not potable so you need to buy bottled. There's plenty of cakes for breakfast but no eggs. Wifi works on the porch but not inside the room as connection is too weak. Beaches are a long drive away. Ok for a couple of nights but I'd have been rather disappointed if we stayed here our...
