Bed & Breakfast Castello Di Belforte — Hotel in Todi

There is nothing I can fault Castello di Belforte, the room and the bathroom were very clean and the towels changed every two days. |Breakfast was held in the "Convivium"room and it was a. mix of sweet (home-made cakes) and also salami etc. |I would say that the surrounding area is simply beautiful, one can appreciate the real dark nights even Winter nights, like I did. We slept only 1 night in this B&B, but it was worth it. When you arrive you drive throught this long beautiful alley and see this castle. It is an experience to sleep in an old castel from the 14th century. The owner was very friendly with a heartly welcome, but can speak only a few words in English. She told us about the history of the castel (mostly in Italian, but it was charming and you can understand a bit of it). The room is equipped with old looking furniture which fits to the old castle. This is a review which should have been written almost 6 years ago. I was thinking of the trip we had in the summer of 2016 to Umbria and how much we loved our stay in a B&B in an old castle. I couldn’t remember the name and weirdly no record of the booking was in my emails etc! Eventually I tracked the name down in an email I had sent to our family after the trip.
