Masseria San Nicola Bed and Breakfast — Hotel in Torre Santa Susanna

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in August 2024. I usually don’t leave reviews but my experience here compelled me to write this. We highly recommend this place.

Pros: tranquil, peaceful, well-maintened property set in the middle of an olive farm surrounded by lush trees like citrus, palms olives etc. and flowering plants. Decorated in farm style with horse riding equipment etc. if you want a relaxing place to rest and recharge, this is it. the huge pool at the front of the property where you have so much space to chill and relax. Bonuses are the outdoor showers and the Bluetooth sound system at the pool where you play some chill music. The village of Torre Santa Susanna and small town of Mesagne is just a short drive away if you want to go explore, got get some dinner etc. free and secure parking right at the property. the rooms are modest, with large beds and attached private shower and toilet. There’s also space right outside the rooms to sit during late evenings and enjoy a chat looking at the stars. best part about the place is definitely the staff. Nicola met us personally to welcome us and gave lots of tips etc. all our wishes were readily accommodated. We asked for a microwave and one was promptly installed in the common room for usage. After long travels, we asked to use the washing machine and our laundry was collected and cleaned for us. Overall outstanding hospitality. Free buffet style breakfast with local foods ideal for couples/families/singles free WiFi best bonus for me personally was the gentle giant of a farm dog, Walter. Keep and eye out for him 😉

Cons: Rooms are modest, do not expect luxury. if you want a big city luxury/ resort stay, this place might not be for you. you need a car to get to and from the property. WiFi in our room was very slow, but we didn’t mind too much since we were out exploring the surrounding...

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation! The property is warm and welcoming, the rooms are spotless, the pool area is fantastic, and the breakfast is simple and delicious. There is a large lawn and a picnic area for shared meals, which includes a small kitchen.

The hosts (Nicola) and the staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home.

We stayed for 5 nights and explored the surrounding area. The location is perfect if you don’t mind driving 20–40 minutes to reach the beaches (depending on whether you choose east or west). Nearby, there are charming historic towns that are perfect for pleasant evening strolls and enjoying a great dinner.

This B&B is located about 30 minutes from Brindisi and about 15 minutes from the historical town of Mesagne. It forms part of an olive plantation. The rooms are quite rustic, comfortable, and totally tranquil. We enjoyed a good night’s sleep. |There is also a covered relaxation area with lounge chairs near the pool. The pool itself is lovely & clean and about 15 metres or so in length. The grounds are perfectly manicured, whilst still retaining that rustic feel. At the front of each room is a basic yet comfortable lounge area, and if needs be you can also hand-wash and dry your clothes. Breakfast was quite ample with a variety of local foods.
