Villa Petrarca — Hotel in Torreglia

We spent two weeks here as a group of 12 people and really enjoyed it. The villa has a great location, close to a supermarket but feeling like it is in the countryside. The Euganean hills are beautiful. Villa owner had great communication and lots of excellent restaurant suggestions which we used. Pool was kept very clean and has a great view. A/C is effective in the areas where it is - on the 1st and 2nd floors. Wifi is fine but only really usable in one room - the large living room - which does not have A/C. No wifi in bedrooms. Location is great, lots of interesting things to visit within 1 hour drive: Venice, Padua, Verona, ... I would give 4 stars, if house was not so overpriced, in our opinion, price is too high compared to what you get for it: we didn't had working wifi, swimming pool was containing too much chlorine, resulting in allergic reaction for our kids, so they couldn't play a lot in the swimming pool. We had a great stay at Villa Petrarca. A very quiet place, surrounded by the nature, very close to Padova and Abano Terme, and less than 1h from Venice, Verona and Bologna. The rooms are spacious, beautiful and perfectly clean. The garden and the swimming pool are well kept and relaxing.
