While the hotel is a bit dated, it was a few members of the staff, particularly in the restaurant, that were the main issue from a service perspective. While we had a fantastic experience with one male waiter who served 10 of us with a smile and a sense of humour in a private room on the first floor, many of the staff that worked during the breakfast and tended the outdoor bar area were clearly not happy working there. If you were of Italian descent, you were treated far differently than if you were not and this occurred on multiple days. The difference was palatable. Some of the women who were working the breakfast area had scowls on their face, ignored you or were very dismissive when delivering your coffee. The woman that appeared to be in charge behind the bar was more professional. I recall ordering a drink on the outdoor patio from a young blonde haired waitress one afternoon and after 1/2 hour I went up to ask about the status of my drink, her boss asked her where the drink was and then she delivered it after a few minutes with a scowl on her face. For those waitresses, here's a little tip - If you don't like interacting with people, then perhaps a job in the hospitality industry is not for you. For this reason I will never come back to this hotel nor would I recommend it to anyone of...

We had a lovely stay in La Therme , b&b., which is affiliated with The hotel but sits in the building next to it. We stayed on the first floor. Our unit had a separate entrance into the lovely garden at the back, but also had an entrance from the back street. This door was right in front of the restaurant kitchen on the side and it could be a bit noisy at night, but not a lot, I should admit. The breakfast was in the restaurant of the hotel and was absolutely delightful, including setting, sitting inside or outside, the variety of food, both for North Americans and the Europeans, the hotel workers were very friendly and helpful. I was confused with the pictures of the comfort suite and description of what type of sleeping arrangements or how it will look like. For some reason it was showing the terrace and gave the feeling that the suite will be on the second floor. I was expecting the view from the balcony and was disappointed when it was not the case. Nevertheless, the entrance to the garden on the first floor was equally nice! We enjoyed our stay a lot! Too bad they do not have a pool or, at list sell the use a spa for at list a half of the day , not the full day, which is not what you might want staying in such a...

🇬🇧 I had wanted to visit Bagno Vignoni for years, and the perfect opportunity finally arrived with my husband's 40th birthday. I booked a package stay including a couples massage, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The hotel is fabulous, and the experience—from booking to departure—was outstanding. The staff, professional and extremely kind, truly made me feel special.

I reserved a room overlooking the Vasca di Santa Caterina: waking up to this incredible view was priceless. The room was equipped with every comfort, including a mattress topper that would even please Bruno Barbieri!

We didn't dine at the hotel, so I didn't have the chance to experience the restaurant. However, given the quality of the breakfast, the exceptional service, and having glimpsed the wine cellar on level -1, it's definitely something I plan to try during my next visit!

Our stay was brief, just a weekend, so we weren't able to fully enjoy all the amenities offered. Nevertheless, I have already envisioned myself enjoying an aperitif on the terrace overlooking the pool—an experience I absolutely want to try in the future. The location is priceless, the atmosphere magical, and it leaves you feeling like time has slowed down, offering genuine relaxation within a dreamy setting.

Additionally, Bagno Vignoni offers numerous excursion options in the surrounding area. We visited in the low season, the perfect time to feel like you're experiencing something truly exclusive. I'm not sure we'd have had the same experience during peak season... but perhaps I shouldn't say this, as everyone might end up booking the same period! 😉

We will definitely return, perhaps for a longer stay, to explore all the beauty this wonderful hotel and the area...

My husband and I loved our stay at Albergo le Terme. It's run by a local family since the 1970s, and we got to meet 3 generations. You feel love and care everywhere here, from the comfort of rooms, the decor, the food, to the every detail of the grounds and the service. It's amazing that this building was the residence of Pope Pius II in the 15th century. We had such a good time here, didn't want to leave. And the tiny village is beautiful, we walked in the mornings and in the evenings, and the views of the Tuscan valley below are breathtaking. Oh, and the view from our room (221) was incredible (it's of the old belltower and the ancient hot springs baths, I couldn't stop taking photos). Not too many American tourists here, which felt very special. Highly recommend this gem of a place! Extra shout out to Laura, Diego and Chiara, and Patrick at front desk!

We stayed at the Albergo Le Therme as part of a trip through the Tuscan Hill Towns. The small village is picturesque and the Spa is at the start of the village; set in beautiful peaceful landscaping. Our room was elegant and tastefully decorated. The service at the restaurant was attentive, quick and friendly. Being vegans there were typically limited options on our trip, however they not only had vegan selections for dinner but also for breakfast. The food was delicious and filling. I did explore the spa area which looked quite inviting and relaxing but did not have time to participate in the amenities. Over one of the best stays on our trip.

An mehreren Stellen sieht man Luftblasen aufsteigen.
