We didn't like the hotel and were disappointed when checked-in. The hotel is rather old and not very comfortable. We didn't expect to see a modern or fashionable hotel because the aim of our staying was shopping but we used to stay in hotels with necessary conveniences. We made a mistake when chose this hotel. ||Firstly, I think it's very important to mention the condition of the room we lived in. It was old and very dark. The lighting was very poor, especially in the bathroom. I had a feeling of being in a vault. But it's not the most terrible thing of the hotel. Next one is a bed! The bed was absolutely unfit to sleep in. Its spring mattress was too old and obviously haven't been changed for years. First night we couldn't fall asleep cause springs of the mattress were sticking into our backs. Next night my husband laid a mat and a blanket over it. ||Secondly, I didn't like breakfast at all. I can't understand how possible it is to service such a poor breakfast. I'm going to enumerate its components: corn flakes (not muesli), croissants (was it a good luck?), cheese and ham (which you should have grabbed immediately because there were just 10 or 15 pieces of them), fruit and small buns. Really, I don't cavil at every trifle but it would be better if they have just offered muesli, cottage cheese, some bread and enough ham and cheese. ||In addition, the hotel is not far from Milan. We travelled by car and it was very convenient to get to Milan, just 15 minutes. And the hotel has its own car park but it's not very big and if you come lately you will risk not to park your car there!||In conclusion, I want to add that the staff were very kind and good. Apparently, they smoothed over a part of negative...
Read moreThis was rated a 3 star hotel, and if you are looking for some surprises you will find them here. First the road to it is small, but it is the first Hotel on that road. You park on site for free, but you need to be prepared for the narrow driveway entrance..2nd try you'll get it. The rooms are plain, but clean and not too tight for single beds. The staff are what makes this better than the brick and morter. We asked for directions and advice to Milan, they not only explained, they offered maps, and the best way for saving $. Free WIFI, and is very fast, and I tested 5, no drops or filters. They recommend 4 nice restaurants and we greatly enjoyed 2 that we tried, which were walking distance. Important, there are 2 major Stradas (highways) near by, so the traffic is busy, but this is how you quickly get to Milan or Seina. Price and staff make this a good stopping hotel, and if you explore Binasco, you might find...
Read moreOn the way back home we have stayed one night here. It is a very small town and only 16 km to Milano. The rooms on the street side are very loud because of the cars. They have other rooms which are on the back side of the Hotel. Rooms are very clean and big enough.Don't open the windows they have really big mosquitos. Breakfast is very rich except the cheese. They have kind of cheese which you use for toast.||The guy who works in the reception area was very nice and helpful. He told us where we can have a Pizza and the Pizzeria was very good. La Vecchia Stazione is the name and I recommend that to all the pizza lovers. ||It is a very nice hotel but not for a long stays. For one night is a...
