I spent a few days at Podere Sant’Angelo and honestly, it was exactly what I needed. It’s one of those rare places where everything slows down — surrounded by olive trees, rolling hills, and complete silence. If you're looking to unwind and disconnect, this is the place.

The apartment was super clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. But what really made the stay special was the location — just a short drive from the Saturnia Hot Springs and the stunning Cascate del Mulino. After soaking in the warm waters all day, coming back to the apartment to watch the sun set over the hills was pure magic.

Graham, the host, was incredibly kind and helpful without ever being intrusive. He gave us great tips on where to eat and what to explore nearby — all local gems we wouldn’t have found on our own.

We have had a wonderful two weeks stay in the Albegna apartment in Podere Sant Angelo. The apartment is very comfortable with everything you may need for a great holiday. Graham is very knowledgeable about the local area and gave us many top tips of places to visit. The local towns of Arcidosso and Castel del Piano have well stocked supermarkets and lovely cafes. There are so many little restaurants serving amazing Tuscan specialties in the area, two of our favourites being Trattoria Cacciatore in Rocchette de Fazzio where we had an amazing cod dish and Da Noi at Cana which has amazing views over the valley. Wir hatten eine herrliche Woche bei Graham auf dem Podere Sant'Angelo. Im Vorfeld haben wir schon viele Informationen bekommen und zusätzliche Kontaktdaten. Graham hat uns persönlich empfangen und alles Notwendige gezeigt. Nicht erschrecken. Von der Straße aus sind es ca. 3 km auf Schotter bis zum Agritourismo. Dies ist aber keine Seltenheit. Was uns dann erwartete war nichts als Ruhe und Aussicht über ein ganzes Tal. Außer Vogelgezwitscher, Grillen und Schafen. Auf der Terrasse stehen Lounge-Möbel und ein Tisch mit vier Stühlen. Zwei Luegestühle und ein Wäscheständer mit Klammern runden die Ausstattung draußen ab. Drinnen hatten wir eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche mit einem super Messerblock, Putzmitteln und Spultüchern. Auch eine Zewarolle war da und noch ein extra Müllbeutel. Espressokanne, Mikrowelle, Toaster und Wasserkocher sind ebenfalls da. In diesem Bereich steht auch noch eine Schlafcouch. Im Bad befindet sich eine Dusche eine Toilette, ein Bidet ein Waschbecken und ein Regal mit Ablagemöglickeiten. Handtücher sind ebenso wie ein Fön vorhanden. Und dann noch das Schlafzimmer. Die Matratze war sehr gut. Ich habe geschlafen wie ein Murmeltier. Auch die Heizung hat sehr gut funktioniert. Da es abends noch sehr kühl war, haben wir die echt gebraucht. Auf dem Grundstück stehen 2 Häuser in einem gepflegten Garten mit Lavendel, Rosen, usw. Im Sommer bestimmt ein Traum. Neben der Wohnung von Graham gibt es noch 4 vergleichbare Gästeappartments. Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt und Graham stand uns für alle Fragen jederzeit bereit. Schade dann wir nicht noch ein paar Tage bleiben konnten. Dann hätten wir die untergehenden Sonne auf der Terrasse auch mal genießen können. So waren wir immer viel unterwegs. Ich kann das Podere jedem Naturliebhaber...
