What a beautiful place to stay with stunning views of the rolling Tuscan countryside. A small family run BnB with an intimate setting and some of the best Italian hospitality we've had. Sonia & Giacomo made our visit very special. Sonia is such a kind character, always smiling and nothing was too much to ask. ||La Pievina is situated 3km outside Montepulciano town which gives the feeling that you are tucked away from it all. A little too far to walk but with taxis or your own car, it's much easier. Taxis cost us about €20 one way into the main Montepulciano town. ||Breakfast came included and had all the lovely staples of a continental offering. The tomatoes are class. And the oil, cheese and cured meats. The home-made sweet things are lovely too.||The room was nicely decorated in a classic tuscan style. The fan on the roof was OK. Mainly what shines is the setting. The infinity pool overlooking the rolling hills is pinch-worthy. We watched the sunset one evening and star gazed the next. ||All in all, if you want to visit Montepulciano with a little more of a relaxed countryside feel then definitely check out La Pievina and Sonia and Giacomo's fantastic hospitality.||It's a place we will remember for a...

There is no food served or cooked in the night, though wine can be purchased from here. The food arrangement can be done through a food delivery app - pepperoni (it takes 3 euros extra as delivery charge). Though the kitchen is open, so one can heat, or make some ready food. Its advisable to make the food arrangments prior to the arrival there. Breakfast spread is good. The property is serene, calm, away from crowds and best place to sit with wine and enjoy & relax. The beauty of nature is...
Read moreWe stayed at La Pievina towards the end of may. This is a small bed and breakfast type of place set amongst lovey natural beauty. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Free wifi is available. The only problem is that they did not inform us that there was no dinner facilities available so it was a bit of an unpleasant surprise to reach the place at 8 in the night after a very tiring drive and be told that we would have to go elsewhere for dinner. ||||Breakfast is included in the price of the room and is quite substantial. Once you know that there is no dinner on offer and carry some with yourself, then everything...
