We loved our stay here with a travel group. The staff greeted us and used our names each time they spoke to us during our stay. We ended a long tour of Tuscany here, to rest up and enjoy the mountain during early summer. There is a spa and outdoor pool, playground for children. The staff treated us like family, well better, lol. ||||Our room was comfortable and the mountain view incredible. Lots of living spaces to enjoy indoors and out. Located next to a sweet chapel and little museum, lots of hiking paths and trails. ||||The best thing of note besides the lovely staff and location is the FOOD! It was so amazing, I wish I had saved the printed menus. We had wild boar and venison and traditional Tuscan pastas, the desserts and breakfasts, it was all so amazing I felt in a constant state of bliss. I stayed at this hotel one night and got the "mezza pensione" package, i.e. dinner and breakfast included. The room was a "camara singola" and therefore very small, but adequate, with a decent private bathroom. The best part of the deal was the dinner, which was excellent (make your own salad, a fine pasta, followed by a square of pizza with a side dish consisting of wonderful prosciutto and melon, then a tart for "dolce"). Favoloso bellissimo abbiamo soggiornato per due notti io e mio marito che dire : siamo stati coccolati !! abbiamo dormito con il piumoncino non c'è bisogno dell' aria condizionata durante la notte ... si sta in mezzo al bosco basta lasciare aperta la finestra !! Camera grande con bagno di circa 3.5mx3m io credo ..doccia enorme.. letto particolare tondo super materasso e cuscini a quantità di diverso comfort (avevamo un bagno cieco ma non abbiamo avuto disagi) in più c'è l'angolo cottura super fornito con stoviglie, lavandino forno a microonde comodissimo a mio avviso se si hanno bimbi. Il percorso benessere ha una vasca idromassaggio nella grotta ed è fantastica per un relax dopo una giornata di trekking o di tour per mete come la diga di Ridracoli...il proprietario in più nel mentre ci ha offerto anche uno spuntino e drink una vera coccola! Questo hotel è un buon punto partenza per sentieri da facilissimi e possibili per bambini o neo mamme ad altri ..La notte si può apprezzare finalmente il cielo stellato e le lucciole !! Si sta nella pace e il fresco del bosco. Il ristorante offre un servizio H24 a disposizione del cliente con un menù diciamo con "piatti leggeri "fino a sera e per poi proseguire con un menù classico "più cucinato" diciamo così.. materie prime di qualità la colazione non è compresa nel costo del soggiorno ma al bar ristorante non manca nulla torte fatte da loro buonissime.Hanno a disposizione anche delle biciclette a noleggio.
