Although the internet connection in the apartment wasn't perfect, we found that it worked flawlessly outside and was far superior to what we had experienced in many other agriturismo places in Tuscany. The owners of this place were exceptional. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and eager to assist us in any way possible. Their friendly nature and willingness to help made us feel right at home, and their recommendations for local attractions and activities were invaluable. We enjoyed visiting the famous terme in Saturnia, which was a short 15-minute drive away. It was an exhilarating experience, and being able to make such trips every other day added an exciting element to our vacation.

Our stay at Agriturismo I Sicomori, holiday apartment BR2E, fully matched your description, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. It was also a little paradise for our three dogs, where they could roam freely in the fully fenced garden. Naturally, we greatly enjoyed the property's embedding in the beautiful landscape and the peace and quiet that comes with it. We regularly used the swimming pool right outside the front door. We also visited Saturnia just as regularly to enjoy bathing in both the thermal baths and the natural thermal springs. A few short detours were on the agenda, but otherwise, the house, grounds, and entire complex offered us ample opportunities to spend our vacation in a relaxed atmosphere. Abbastanza prevenuto dalle prenotazioni “fai da te” su internet e, da buon milanese, sospettoso e pronto a brutte sorprese eccomi sulla stradina stretta e sterrata fattami imboccare dal navigatore… è oramai sera e la stradina pare perdersi letteralmente nel nulla. Il timore si fa pressante… o ci hanno “fregato” o il navigatore è impazzito !!!

Boh, diamo ancora un poco di beneficio del dubbio e seguitiamo sulla sterrata che ora si addentra tra siepi ed alberi…. Finalmente un sospiro… ecco l’indicazione che ci rimette di buon umore e ci indica la raggiunta meta dei SICOMORI.

Allora: varchi l’ingresso e ti trovi in un paradiso di villini tenuti benissimo e di una invitante piscina il tutto “perso” nella natura; sei beatamente lontano dal frastuono cittadino e immerso nel verde.

Ci viene assegnato il villino da noi prenotato che si sviluppa su due piani sopra le camere e sotto cucina e salotto. Ambiente ben arredato, funzionale e piacevole da viverci. Fuori un piccolo giardino con camino per BBQ e sedia sdraio.

Location veramente bella e gradevole a poca distanza dalle Terme e dalle pittoresche balze. Ottima base per programmare escursioni ai pittoreschi borghi incastonati su e giù dai colli. Se non si è ancora capito, io e mia moglie ci siamo trovati STRA BENE e pure “rapiti” dalla cortesia e gentilezza dei gestori, sempre disponibili sia alle quattro ciarle che a soddisfare eventuali nostre richieste.
