The refuge itself is very nice, clean, spacious and well equipped with nothing missing from toilets to board games and guitars to play. But what makes it really enjoyable is the volunteer team of people that run the place, they are very friendly and excellent cook. We celebrated the 18th birthday of our daughter up there for which we were served a lovely and delicious cake! Read moreWe visisted the rifugio with 7 persons and a dog and were welcomed with tea and open arms. The group of volunteers who run the place with Julia in charge did everything possible to give us a good time. Dinner was very good and general atmosphere was really very friendly. Above this all the rifugio is a nice place with exceptional fantastic view on Wallis and Gran Paradiso. Definitily more than worth the climb and stay there...
