Relax Cottage Cinzia — Hotel in Valtopina

While staying in the beautiful area of Valtopina recently we encountered some difficulty at the house we were staying in and needed a locksmith urgently. Not able to speak much Italian we we were desperate to find help, we saw a sign for the Relax Cottage and thought we might see if they could help us. To our delight and amazement we found the family who own the Relax Cottage to be so kind and helpful - especially Sarah who contacted a locksmith for us and arrange for him to come from Foligino to Valopina and meet us at the local landmark...the Supermarket(we thought this kind of hospitality was only found in Ireland.) That night we decided to have dinner at the Cottage and we were so impressed with the food and kindness, we decided to stay with them for our last night in Italy and it was truly an oasis of luxury !||The pool,rooms and the hospitality were amazing but most of all the food and the warm welcome of Sarah ,Micheala and the amazing chef Ismail made our stay the highlight of our holiday.The spectacular location and views from the hotel were breathtaking and we noticed that a lot of locals eat at the restaurant which is always a good sign.||||The Relax Cottage is well signposted off the AutoStrade in Valtopina and merits a stay if you are in the area - its a small business and needs support as the Hotel was totally refurbished four year ago and the decor of the room is very modern and beautifully done and offer great value for money for a family. We were ten in our group including four children who had no trouble finding something they liked on the menu. Questo posto e'cosi incantato che ci sono ritornata con mio marito a distanza di due settimane. Pulizia impeccabile terrazzo grande della stanza sulla torretta che da sulla piscina e sul panorama mozzafiato cibo ottimo mangiate da loro perché federica fa dei piatti buonissimi e nunzia a colazione sforna dei dolci superlativi. Se cercate relax riposo natura e gentilezza venite qui. Noi viaggiamo molto ma la disponibilita' il sorriso e le premure di federica e nunzia non le ho trovate da nessuna parte.se siete fortunati potete avvistare qualche capriolo nel bosco di fronte la struttura io mi sono accontentata di due bellissime poiane e scoiattoli simpatici.dal relax cottage potete andare ai borghi stupendi di bevagna montefalco Spoleto assisi rasiglia spello foligno....ma come si mangia da federica e nunzia non si mangia da nessuna parte credetemi!! Chiedete pure consiglio sui posti a loro danno sempre ottimi consigli.dal loro menù vi consiglierei tutto ma dovete assaggiare per forza la pasta al tartufo anche quella agli asparagi e la loro panzanella e il farro!!!torneremo prestissimo alla nostra magica torretta. Über Expedia 3 Tage mit Frühstück gebucht. Als wir ankamen hieß es (auf telefonische Nachfrage warum das Tor zu sei), das Hotel wäre geschlossen, da die Saison zu Ende wäre. Bei Expedia nachgefragt und oh Wunder 20 Minuten später war dann doch jemand vor Ort, der uns Einlass gewährte. Alles nur ein Missverständnis. Merkwürdig nur, daß wir 2 Tage ganz alleine im Hotel gelassen wurden, uns das Frühstück 14 Kilometer entfernt bei Biddinis (Echt gut 👌) abholen durften und erst von Samstag auf Sonntag noch andere 7 Gäste vor Ort waren, die uns nach dem Concierge und dem Frühstück fragten. Alle, auch wir, haben ausgecheckt ohne nochmal jemand vom Hotel getroffen zu haben. Ach ja, trotz kühlen Temperaturen keine Heizung möglich, alles im Zimmer war klamm. Das Bett eine Zumutung. HÖHE 25cm, Matratze durchgelegen. Ich habe keine Nacht ohne Schmerztabletten schlafen können und konnte nur mühsam aus dem Bett aufstehen. TV funktionierte nicht, Bad ohne Ablagemöglichkeiten. FENSTERLÄDEN nicht zu öffnen...Jede Menge Wanzen. Ok für 3 Nächte Abenteuer "nur" 240€,🤷🏻‍♂️. Das Cottage hat eine TOP Lage, ist aber alles andere als eine TOP Wellness Anlage.
