B&B PalmaGrill — Hotel in Venice

The owner was very helpful and thoughtful. He went above the call of duty to help us solve a problem. (Thanks again, L.) He made himself accessible, too, at the right times to answer questions, etc. Transportation into the city has to be figured out. We rode buses and the ferry that docks at Fusina... all this worked fine.||||The facility was very comfortable. We were able to have evening tapas and wine (that we'd bought at the local market) on the balcony overlooking the canal. That was pleasant! Rooms and beds were comfortable and the shared bath was large and also comfortable. A European style breakfast was ready for us in the morning, with places for each room set...

Worst travel experience of my life! And i traveled a lot… i was in front of the door at 4:00pm like the reservation said, after ringing the bell for like 1 hours under the rain, nobody showed up or even tell me whats up… after calling 10 times nobody answered… went again later at like 9:00pm ringed.. nobody AGAIN…. So i lost my room and my money…. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF A AWFUL NIGHT AND...

I stayed here on the way and the way back from Greece via ANEK ferries to Patras from Venice||The owner could not have been more flexible (I arrived at 400 in the morning), nor more helpful about transport to ferry. and The Fusina ferry stop to old Venice is 2 minutes drive away.||||Do not worry about of on suite ..it worked very well, and the B&B was quiet and in a grte location for the motorways,...
