B&B Horse's House — Hotel in Verona

We just stayed at the Horse’s House for a week and absolutely enjoyed it. We can’t say enough on how friendly Carlo and his wife and daughter were and they attended to our needs (Very welcoming) Carlo gave us hints of where we could visit, which was very helpful. Private parking which is also behind a easy to use automatic gate, so our car was safe. The garden area was well manicured, but we missed the pool, as it was off season. The room was very spacious, modern and well looked after. The breakfasts were excellent and always had fresh home made sweets for our desert. There is a local restaurant just steps away. We loved it there also. The husband and wife team spoke no English, but that was part of the fun. The was a Italian gentleman there, most evenings, that could speak some English, so that helped. We ate there several time and on our last night they gave us a hug. |As far as the wifi, we could get it our room sporadically, but if you sat in the breakfast area or at the outside patio, it worked fine. With a week of travelling around this part of Italy, I stayed here for 3 nights. Just on the outskirts of Verona, it is close to the centre (10 mins drive) but absolute peace and quiet when you wake up and just hear the birds. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, carried my very heavy case to my room. Room was clean and rustic, bathroom exceptionally clean and lots of storage. Car park behind private gates and easy access to the main roads to get to places easily. We really enjoyed our stay here. Carlo, the owner, was very considerate and the backyard setting was very private. He also had his pool up and running, so that was a refreshing way to end the day. The room was nice and the AC work very well and breakfast was wonderful (one of our favorites during our two-week trip around Germany, Austria and Italy). Very good experience. Highly recommend.
