Hotel Ponte — Hotel in Vieste

Vieste was a stop on a recent road trip across southern Italy. Our host was very nice and accommodating with a great knowledge of the area with things to see and restaurants to have dinner. He suggested the forest road (Umbra Forest) through Gargano and it was a great suggestion and a must do while in the area. I would have loved to do a bicycle ride but along with many things on this trip I didn’t have time. The hotel closes for the season this weekend but reopens in May. Will have to return...

We came as a couple and stayed at Hotel Ponte. We were pleasantly surprised by how service-minded the staff were. At one point, we had left our car to charge and walked all the way back to the hotel — and they even asked whether we wanted to go pick it up ourselves or if they should drive us there.||The hotel gave a really good impression — it could easily have been rated three stars, maybe even four. It was clean, smelled nice, and everyone on the staff was extremely kind...

The hotel is located in a peaceful neighborhood, close to the beautiful beach and few nice restaurants. The room we stayed in, was modest, but clean and comfortable. The hotel offers parking and Italian style breakfast. There’s also nicely made garden.
