This is a great place for visiting Verona because it's half a mile walk from the railway station. We arrived during lunch time and when I rang I was given the code for the gate and to find a space - all in English - thank you. It has matured a lot since the photos and the pitches are surrounded by high hedges now - some in pairs. The pitches are level and a good size. The site is well looked after - the grass was cut while we were there. The toilet block is interesting! As you go in there's one big sink opposite the two shower cubicles, but the drains in the showers can't cope with all the water and so flood the room. These cubicles are tiny so a large waterproof bag with a handle and an S hook are handy. There's a soap etc organiser if you want to use it. Plenty of hot water. Next there's two toilets (the light in the second one didn't work but reception was closed when I went to tell them). Then there's a large open space - it would have been nice to have another basin, another mirror, a shelf and another power socket here to make use of the space and keep some washing and hair drying away from the door. Washing up is outside but under cover - lots of hot water. Really pleasant place to stay. Our pitch faced the tent area and beyond that the...

Ideal for passing trough. Less good things are the lack of shade due to new trees that are not big enough yet so very hot on the gravel pitches. Very bad experience was the neighbor house. the whole evening until after midnight there was noise, barking dogs, crying childern, movement of cars, open windows, tv playing. to be short, you can not sleep. I asked first nice if possible to be quiet when it already was after midnight twice. That did not help. camping owner also unreachable to assist. I had to yell and threted to call the police before it got quiet. So I will never go there again. Sorry for the owners, nothing wrong with the campsite. We left before 9 in the morning so I could not discuss this with the owner. I did leave...

I spent two amazing days camping at this campsite, and I can't recommend it enough! The price was incredibly cheap, which was perfect for my budget. Despite the low cost, the quality of the experience was top-notch.
I was camping with my bike, and the camp owners were the real highlight of my stay. They were so friendly and helpful especially the Young Girl, offering secure storage for my bike and even giving me tips on the best local cycling routes. Whether it was suggesting the best spots to set up my tent or offering tips on nearby hiking trails, they went above and beyond to make sure I had a great time.
If you're looking for an affordable camping experience with wonderful hosts and bike-friendly facilities, this is the...
