Agriturismo Il Melograno — Hotel in Villafranca di Verona

Liked: First of all you get a fantastic welcome, we visited at the same time last year and we were recognised and welcomed like old friends instantly. The facilities here are fantastic if you are looking for a quiet site. It has a fantastic, clean and well maintained pool. A play area with, table tennis, football, basketball, giant chess and more. The pitches are very generous, beautifully maintained and level. People have complained about the fact there are only 2 toilets and 4 showers (one shower was out of order so only 3 while we were there this year), but in the 2 visits we have had, both for several days, it has never been an issue. Yes there is a bit of noise from the airport and road but again, this has never been an issue and we have slept without a problem. The location is fantastic, Lake Garda and Verona are a very short drive away, whilst Venice is about 1.5h. I would 100% recommend this site.

Disliked: If I am being picky I would suggest the pitches should either be allocated or you choose from a list of available pitches when you get there to stop others going...

Liked: A peaceful, beautifully maintained campsite nestled among olive trees with breathtaking views of the Umbrian countryside. The pitches are spacious and well laid out, the facilities are immaculate, and the pool is the perfect place to unwind.

What really sets this place apart is the hospitality. Giulia, the owner and manager, runs the site with incredible care and professionalism—she has a real gift for making guests feel at home. Her mother, Elenora, was equally welcoming and kind. Every detail of the site feels well thought out, and nothing was ever too much trouble.

We wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Liked: In all our years camping in MH, this site is the Creme Le Creme in excellence! Very high standards in cleanness & maintenance! Top nosh washing facilities, even down to the area where you wash your dishes Top of the range Milie washing machines for your clothes washing Freshwater fill up at every electric hook-up. All pitches are meticulously looked after & all level Restaurant on site also selling local wine Very friendly family-run site Local golf clubs The site & facilities are a credit to the beautiful friendly owner!
