Il Frattiero B&B — Hotel in Voghiera

We recently stayed at Il Frattiero Bed and Breakfast and could not possibly recommend this place more. The rooms are exceptionally clean, and well appointed with traditional Italian decor that is curated from the local area. From the minute we arrived, the hosts Marisa and Silvio attended to our every need. They were kind, generous with their time, and helped us to find good places to visit in the local area. Marisa's meals are the BEST! She went out of her way to show us excellent Italian hospitality. We dined outside each day, watching the incredible sunsets and sunrises from the two gazebos on the property. The area around the property is very quiet and serene, so we really had the opportunity to relax and enjoy our stay. Throughout the visit, we felt very safe, comfortable and relaxed. We appreciated hearing stories from Silvio and Marisa about the history of the local area. This was our first trip to Italy, but we will definintely be back to visit Marisa and Silvio again. We (family of 4) stayed at Il Frattiero when visiting an old friend in Ferrara. Had a great experience: friendly and helpful owners, clean room which they had setup for four people, private (detached) bathroom. Kids enjoyed the pool since it was an incredibly hot weekend - the in-room AC helped a lot! Would highly recommend if you're looking to be out in the countryside, or just want a slightly different experience from staying in a city. Plus, it's a fairly easy bus ride (~20 minutes) into Ferrara. We didn't have a car and the owners gave the entire family a ride to the nearest bus stop when our friend wasn't able to...
