Romantik Hotel Stafler — Hotel in Wipptal - Alta Vall'Isarco

We had originally booked our trip in April, but had to reschedule due to travel restrictions. So we stayed in October. Firstly I must point out how safe one feels in Sourh Tyrol as well as the hotel, during these challenging times! Everywhere were hand desinfection devices or gloves available, as well as masks worn indoors as well as outdoors. Staff were always exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had a very warm welcome and throughout the stay everyone was always incredibly attentive. We were given a very spacious family room, with a separate children’s room, a walk in wardrobe, a bath with a separate toilet. Everything was very clean and tidy and had the weather been a bit better, we would have loved to sit on the balcony overlooking the park. I particularly loved the small touches, the fruit basket and the kids shampoo, as well as the little gate on one of the kids beds, so the little one couldn’t fall out. We loved the breakfast with eggs from the hotel’s own chicken and milk products from the hotel’s cows! At dinner we were overwhelmed by the 5 course meal! We did not have a single bad meal or wine. The children’s play room makes it easy to enjoy the food, whilst the kids can play. The kids also loved finding conckers on the outside grounds and the outdoor playground. They loved watching the cows getting milked and fed, saying hello to the rabbits, horses and calves. Sterzing and Brixen were easily reached as well as the Castle Reifenstein, which the kids particularly enjoyed! The indoor swimming pool had a decent size and in the mornings we had it nearly to ourselves. Due to the weather we couldn’t make as much use as we wished for from the outdoor grounds, besides one lunch in the garden. Finally the dinner at the Einhorn Gaststube was mind blowing! Beautifully presented and wonderful food, whilst the atmosphere was so welcoming, the staff welcoming and friendly. Our children had an evening with the Nonna and were treated with pancakes with Smarties and chocolate! What a service!

Second time I’ve been here and this hotel always stuns me with how exceptional they are. Simply the best, from the email communications to arriving at the hotel. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a beautiful room facing the valleys, it is for me, magical waking up every morning with the calmness of the nature, living in a big city of Rome - this is a gem for us that money can’t buy. Food is exceptional, they use natural products and they try as much to provide every ingredients their farm produces. We enjoyed visiting their farm. This hotel is very environmental conscious and sustainability is the name of their game which I adore. I think all hotels should follow their practice. Rooms are cleaned everyday and staff are all polite. Electric bike is one of the strong points too, all you have to do is book and they provide it with no extra cost. The spa is divine. I love having an afternoon tea while sunbathing and also I enjoyed sauna a lot. The only drawback I would say (which for me doesn’t really matter) is that you got to be nude inside. Other than that, all is perfect! Afternoon pastries delicately prepared by them were another treat you wouldn’t want to miss. I highly recommend this hotel, it is not that far from Vipiteno, we go there by bike and it was awesome. But the place literally gives you the romantic vibes and it lifted my spirit. We stayed in your hotel for four (4) days and I could say that overall it was very good. The hotel receptionists (Lara & I forgot the name) was really exceptional, they are very friendly and accommodating. As for the room, I cannot complain. It was all perfect for me. The facilities (swimming pool, garden area, sauna) are very functional and really a 5-star experience. As for the breakfast, the lady who makes the omelette is really outstanding. It might be simple but she always make the best omelette. The server of food are all friendly and helpful too. Overall the service is outstanding. Also the free use of e-bike wherein I was able to enjoy that much. I would also comment the housekeeping as they do an outstanding job on maintaining the cleanliness of our room. I don't know how they do it, but the room is extremely clean and smells really good.

My only concern is the fly. The moment we arrived in the hotel, I saw some fly already inside the entrance. In our room, there were some instances flies enter. Also during breakfast. Maybe in the future, the hotel administration will do some intervention in order to address this issue. I know in winter it is not a problem, but for sure during summer it will be an issue. I know also there are some farm nearby that's why maybe there are these flies.

But over-all, whenever I go back in Vipiteno I will always choose your hotel and will always recommend too. The price is also affordable and...
