Nutmeg Villa what an incredible staff you all are. Upon arrival the staff was unaware that days before our arrival my family was experiencing the loss of our beloved loved one. And they smiled and welcomed us with warm and loving arms. It began for me with the tour of the villa. Thank you, Ms. Ann and Maureen, for putting laughter in our hearts and smiles on our face. We were blown away immediately with the love you both showed us. The special attention to laundry is truly the icing on the cake. Thank you for Ms. Ann for naming “Happy Feet” such an appropriate name of affection.

Mr. C and Chef Tischa just wowed us with the presentation of each meal that was delicately prepared, delicious, prompt and delivered with such care. We needed that! Mr. C you kept the fresh juices and drinks coming 😊. Thank you for cooking all of the food and especially the fish my husband caught.

Uwain and Damion the Gardeners to the beautiful Nutmeg Villa no words, Both just amazing service. Especially Damion a young man so attentive to the Garden thank you for the Garden tour which was impromptu! It gave us a great appreciation for the fruits and vegetation of the land. It was a wonderful experience.

Ms. Denisha her massage techniques were done with integrity. Thank you for being a vessel of healing for me. I take care of my clients and you gave back to me what I give to my customers. You could not have known that about me. My My, My I was speechless.

I am grateful that thankful to God almighty for turning a family Birthday vacation and orchestrating things in such a way to where it became a place of healing and refuge for my family.

We were treated like kings and queens by the most caring, energetic, attentive, involved and thoughtful staff. I've stayed all around the globe and I've never been treated with such kindness and hospitality. If there's anything you need or want, they're right there, ready and willing to enthusiastically help make your vacation a visit to paradise. Lloyd and Uwain kept us company late into the nights and made sure our party had enough drinks to keep the party rolling. Ann and Marie kept our accommodations (which are absolutely stunning, by the way) flawless, doing their magic quietly in the background, with smiles and cheerful conversation all the while. Devonte and Dave hauled us around in style to wherever we needed to go, providing helpful information and recommendations we were all thankful for. Delta is fantastic. If I have one recommendation, other than JUST BOOK THIS PLACE, it's let her pick the menu--you will LOVE it. We had fantastic food for every meal! Local favorites, exotic and familiar, but fresher fruit, and several ahem gallons of rum punch along the way. Carlington is perfect. He hung out with us and filled us in on anything we wanted to know, and provided first-class service throughout the entire trip. The grounds, tended to by Lloyd and Uwain, were wonderful as well. Eating naseberries, mangos, avocados, June plums, and sweet/soursop from the grounds was incredible. The fruit was second to no other place I've visited (and I've been everywhere). The views, pool, flowers, breeze, open air home, fast internet, game room, and large gathering areas made for an awesome experience. Only way it could have been better? A 6-inch telescope to view the stars and planets on the clear, dark nights. We did our best with the spotting scope and still managed to enjoy the Galilean moons of Jupiter and the faint rings of Saturn. The place is spectacular, but takes a back seat to the hospitality. My husband and I were instantly hooked from our very first visit to Nutmeg Villa and we have come back again and again with our kids, our parents, and our friends. Every visit has suited each age group, activity level and addressed everyone’s personal preferences, including our most recent visit in March. Everyone we bring to Nutmeg falls in love with the ocean view, the lovely accommodations, the delicious chef prepared meals and the professional, warm & welcoming staff. From the moment you arrive, you feel both at home and on a private pampered vacation. It’s the best of both worlds!

The property itself is captivating with its sprawling grounds and an abundance of flowering plants, fruit & nut trees. Ask for a tour and you will be gladly taken around the premises and given an in-depth description and taste of it all, along with an explanation of the medicinal uses of some of the plants. It’s a special added treat. Ask the staff to join in some board games and dance parties in the evenings and get ready for some memories to take home! So much good-hearted fun.

We were happy enjoying the swimming pool and playing table tennis and billiards on property but, as Nutmeg guests, we also had access to the beach at Half Moon Bay Resort which is just across the road so, we took advantage of that as well. If you’re a golf lover like my husband, then you will be happy to know that Half Moon Bay Golf course is literally just a stone’s throw away.
