This hotel is near Wadayama Station and easy to find, and the shared shuttle bus is available for visiting Ritsuunkyo Valley for viewing the sea of clouds (but the shuttle bus is leaving too early and only the top of the castle came out). ||||I was with a plan without meal but the owner was so kind to offer me a lift to the supermarket because there is totally ZERO restaurants and convenience store that day (Sunday perhaps) at Wadayama. This ryokan has a homely atmosphere. The room was clean, quiet and the bed comfortable. The room space and furniture was sufficient. People who like to complain would say the bathroom is small, but to me it was good enough.||I cannot rate the meal as I ate outside, but I enjoyed the tea and coffee service.||Above all, I really appreciated the warm welcome I received and the eagerness to advise and help me. The owner even offered to drive me to Takeda in the morning, without me asking for it, which I am very thankful for.||It was a very pleasant stay and if I come back to Wadayama, I will not hesitate to book a room at Izumi...
