This is a quaint, comfortable, inviting and friendly hotel in the shadow of Mr Fuji. All of the rooms have a view of Mt Fuji. The onsite hot bath, Onson, is open in the morning and the evening. You can relax in the hot spa and gaze on Mt Fuji. The restaurant is excellent, serving fine food for dinner as well as a Japanese and Western breakfast on alternate days. You can take the local Shinkansen from Tokyo Station which takes one hour to the nearest station to the hotel. I would recommend renting a car to travel around Mt Fuji and to get to the hotel. The hotel is quite remote so bus service is infrequent and taxis are quite expensive. There is a Toyota and Nissan car rental at the train station. There are many interesting things to do around Mt Fuji - check a tourist guide for ideas. One drawback at the hotel is that the staff do not speak much English - they are extremely friendly but communication would be difficult if you have no access to Japanese translation or a translator.
