We recently stayed at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Fujisawa-Shonandai and had a very pleasant experience. Unlike many business hotels in Japan, the room featured a generously sized bed that was comfortable and provided a good night's rest. The toilet was also relatively spacious, offering more comfort compared to the compact setups commonly found in other hotels.
One of the highlights was the breakfast, which offered a wide variety of choices to suit different tastes. The hotel is well-equipped with amenities such as laundry services, a microwave, vending machines, and complimentary toiletries. A nice touch was the availability of hair styling accessories that guests can borrow. These thoughtful extras add convenience to the stay.
The staff deserve special mention for their friendly demeanor and excellent customer service, making the overall experience even more enjoyable.
While there’s no onsen available at this property, the quality of service and amenities more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a comfortable and well-equipped business hotel in Fujisawa-Shonandai, this is a great option. It’s perfect for both business and leisure travelers. It is approximately 300m walking from...

The rooms were the typical japanese sized rooms, just enough for a carry on sized bag and about 2 feet around the bed. I had 2 different rooms, and although looking about the same size, one had a smaller bathroom which was a bit hard to move around in. The bed was much firmer than I'm used to in Canada which made the first few nights a bit uncomfortable. Definitely cannot sleep on your side with those mattresses. ||||I was travelling with a group of 10 people and the front desk was quite slow processing our group (upwards of 15mins per person, with only 2 people at the desk) while checking in and out despite our company giving them our details in advance. They did allow us to store our bags overnight when we had to travel to another city for a day.||||The location itself was very convenient, about a 5 minute walk from the train station, a 7-11 with an international ATM in the foot of the building and lots of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel felt very new and clean compared to some of the other places I stayed during my trip.||||Overall I was quite satisfied with my...
