The accomodation is really nice, the architecture is modern, the room was comfortable and the Japanese breakfast was delicious. However, I only recommend to go there by car. OneLife Hakone is located on the top of hill, with sinuous streets, so it can take a long tiring time walking to the top, especially with luggage. We rented a car, but during check out, we saw guests struggling and getting really anxious and angry because the cabs are rare in the area and the hotel has no pick up/drop off service. The hotel even asked us to drive a couple to the bottom of the hill. Another down was the private onsen. Read moreThis place was absolutely breathtaking. Nestled on top of the hills in Hakone it is surrounded by beautiful trees and amazing views. I booked a suite for myself and two of my friends and we had such a lovely relaxing time! The private hot spring inside the house was nice after a long day of exploring. All the amenities are taken care of plus you get an authentic Japanese breakfast and use of the kitchen. Beds are extremely comfortable as well.

WiFi very weak and rooms have tiny windows. Onsen hard to access as constantly in use by other guests.
