Booked one night to experience glamping in the nature and it exceeded our expectations in all aspect. It’s a brand new ‘end of Autum’ experience opened for booking this year in early November.
The whole experience was branded by snowpeak, a luxurious camping equipment brand. The tent we stayed in was strongly built, provided with a number of quality equipment and amenities to accommodate our needs for the stay such as boots, lamps and even a tap with a sink inside the tent. Stoves and electric mat kept us warm over the night.
3 meals were provided and the dinner was exceptionally delicious cooked by master chef Suzuki who was trained in Michelin-star restaurants. I would revisit just to enjoy another meal cooked by him.
Lastly, the best part was the service provided by the most friendly and helpful staff. Some staff speaks fluent English and the rest worked hard to make you feel welcomed. The whole schedule of my stay was so well-organised and facilitated by the staff. We were entertained by a full schedule throughout our stay from welcoming drink to late night bonfire.
The camping site was located in a prime location to enjoy the spectacular view of North Alps Mountain. We were so lucky that the weather was superb during our stay and we got the best out of it for sunrise viewing and stargazing. We also hiked to the Happo Ike pond, which was arranged by the staff of the site with tickets and transportation.

Planning our trip from the USA, I was a bit apprehensive about adding this to our agenda. We came with our two adult sons, so my wife and I shared a “tent” and they shared a tent. ||Our family has traveled around the world and this was one of the best experiences ever!!! Beautiful surroundings and we enjoyed watching the sunrise. The food is five stars and the service amazing! They close at the end of October and there was only one other family of three here, so we had the whole place to ourselves. ||The fresh baked breads at each meal were delicious and better than the baked breads in Italy.
