Hotel Hikari Hills — Hotel in Hikari

I stayed at this Hotel very recently on business.||||The staff are very friendly and helpful.||||The WiFi was good in the hotel.||||Breakfast was very average - consisting of cold local food plus some cold french fries with cold sausages - with no provision such as fruit or pastries or cereal for International visitors.||||It is a very dated hotel and badly in need of upgrading.||||Facilities are pretty non existent and included a very dated room TV, poorly functioning air conditioning, very dated and cheap room fittings. The pillows were the hardest I have ever come across. ||||Many of the light bulbs in the room were broken - reading a book in bed was not possible.||||Safety was a major concern -||||Reception was closed at night time , the front entrance locked and all emergency exits on the ground floor were locked - in the event of an emergency you cannot exit the hotel from the ground floor.||||There were electric cables running across the dining room floor - a trip hazard.||||The hotel was very musty - and in need of new carpets.||||Overall - i can not recommend this Hotel - as a safe...

Stayed one night due to a business trip.It was the last room available. The hotel is a simple one in a small town, a bit old but enough for the needs. Stayed in a double room for a single use. The room had a good size, the bed and pillow were comfy. The heating was working properly. Amenities include shaver, toothbrush, a body sponge and shampoo, body soap and face wash. Bath towels were comfy. There is a kettle and drier and a tv . The only problem was the toilet, it was smelly, I don't know why but for this particular room, I had to close the bathroom door and turn the fan all night , if not , the smell would impregnate the room. There is a free breakfast , Japanese style, very simple, salads, soup, rice and eggs to be prepared by the customers. There are toasts and juices available also. Free parking is available. Not many places to eat around. Recommend staying only if needed if not stay...

味はともかく、数種類の朝食がついて5000円以内で宿泊できることを考えれば、とても安い。しかもデスクも広く、スタンドがあるので仕事もしやすい。寝具は1階から持参する方式だが、ひげそりやブラシ、ボディスポンジなども揃っていて、スティック状の緑茶も自由に部屋に持って行ける上、ドライヤーや湯沸かしポットも部屋に備わっている。部屋には小さいが陶器の湯飲みもあり、ネット予約だとオロナミンCか水のペットボトルまでもらえる。フロントの対応も悪くはない。新聞も自由に持参できる。||そう聞けば、コストパフォーマンスが高いと思うかも知れないが、ホテルとしてはいろいろと問題がある。||まず、駅からは遠く、タクシー利用だと片道1200円。鉄道利用者には結果的に高くつく。||では車利用ならばどうか。酒を飲まないかたなら問題はないが、夕食時にアルコール類が必要なかたは、近くの食事場所までタクシーで片道800円～1000円前後はかかる。徒歩ならば、もっとも近い居酒屋八犬伝か焼く肉屋（お薦め）まで20分。つまりホテルの近辺に食事をする場所が全くないのだ。一番近いののは徒歩3分ほどのローソンか。もちろんホテルにはレストランはない（カップラーメンは販売しているらしい）。結局、ホテル代は安いが、タクシーを使わざるを得ず、かなり高くつくのだ。||まずは、この点を了解したうえで利用すること。||つぎにホテルのエアコンは、3段階にかえられることにはなっているが、集中管理なので、あまり変化はない。しかもガラガラとかなり大きな音がするので、よほどの睡眠不足か酔っ払っているとき以外は、スイッチを切らないと寝られないだろう。||また、シャワートイレはついているが、もとを止めているのか、まったく反応しない。||しかも、深夜は施設関連の対応は、人がいないため、全く対応できない。||壁もうすく、隣室のかたの咳やくしゃみがはっきり聞こえる。||部屋には空気清浄機や加湿器もない。加湿器は台数限定で貸してくれるが、音はかなりするので、就寝中は気になるかもしれない。||このように、このホテルはとても安いが、ホテルとしての機能に問題がありすぎるのだ。光市にはまともなホテルがないため、泊まらざるを得ないかたもいるだろうが、上記のようなホテルであることを了解して泊まることが大切である。||もしこれらが気にならないかたなら、コストパフォーマンスは抜群である。||バスタブも、いまどきのホテルとしてはとても狭いが、ここは値段で我慢できよう。||最後に良かったところも、つけ加えておきたい。||朝食に生たまごがつくが、ホットプレートがあるので目玉焼きが作れる。朝食のなかではこれが一番おいしい。このため星をひとつあげておく。なお、朝がパン食のかたは期待しないように。あるのは食パンだけで、味も普通以下。オレンジジュースや牛乳などもない。あるの...
