Hananoshou Resort Hotel — Hotel in Hitoyoshi

We booked a non-smoking twin room but was given a room that smells of cigarette.||It was a strange room that is barrier-free. So the bathroom configuration was very strange and had a very strange unpleasant smell. ||I don't know why we were given such a room- there were many alterations done to make it handicap and wheelchair friendly with grab-bars and all. We ask for a change of room and was told the place is fully booked. After some tos-and-fros they showed us to a jap room. The room looked really bad like it's been abandoned for a while. So we decided to stick to our room and they delivered an air-cleaner and we had to leave our windows open. But they could not be fully opened because of a bar across it.||This is the worst stay in our trip to Kyushu. I thought it's overpriced considering the delapidated state and in such a secluded place.||The onsen location is also strange because from my window, as I looked down, I could see the outdoor onsen, surrounded with greens. It was fine until I saw a teenage boy walked out naked around the compound and then realised that people could see him. He was shocked and ran back and I could hear him laughing and telling his friends.||The only redeeming factor about this place was the outdoor onsen and the garden outside the dining area. Just make sure you do not walk out too far from the onsen area.||Altogether, a depressing place I cannot wait...

The hotel decoration for Christmas was superb & beautiful. Initially when we checked in, the passage way at level 2 had an unpleasant musty smell but a few hours later the smell was gone. 近場で用事があり2名で連泊させて頂きました。立地は高台にあって目立ちます、お部屋からの景色も良いです。 レストラン併設なので、朝食付き宿泊のみで夕ご飯を決めていない場合でもフラッと入れて便利です。

朝食バイキングも美味しかったです。 バイキングの品揃えはサラダは連日ほぼ一緒(レタス、トマト、玉ねぎ、にんじんなど４〜5種ぐらい？)、メインはお魚、イタリアン？なお肉、カレーなど6種ほど、メインについては二日間で内容も変わっていたので楽しみがあって良かった。 他にもだし巻き卵やヨーグルト、ちょっとしたフルーツなど。 ご飯ものは白米とおかゆがありました。 漬物の種類がかなり多かったのも地元を感じました〜 ファミレスにあるようなドリンクバーがついてたのも嬉しい。 子供に人気でした。

そして、家族風呂がとっても良い！ 普通に大浴場に入るつもりでしたが、予約すれば家族風呂を1時間使えますよーと言われてどんなだろうと入ってみると、大浴場の横道に個室が何室が並んでおり、中に普通の室内のお風呂と、外に小庭付きの露天風呂までついてました。 2名で利用したので凄く広くて大満足。 湯船のサイズ的には3人入れるぐらいかな。(×2) 人目を気にせずゆっくりでき大変良かったです。

家族風呂の個室の中にはちょっとした休憩室のような空間(コンパクトな椅子・机)もあり、手洗いあり、大きめの鏡やドライヤーあり、トイレありで、これはお子さんがいるご家族や、人目につきたくない方でもお風呂を満喫できると思いました。ぜひ...
