I spent two nights here in a double room with a tatami area. The size of the room is quite small, it seems only slightly bigger than the tiny standard 15m Japanese hotel rooms. The room faced 7-11 across the road, which is to say it had not much of a view.

However, it was clean and comfortable. I did wonder why they provided a hot water kettle and no teacups though (only the plastic ones in the bathroom). A phone charger, pyjamas, room slippers and some face soap/lotion are provided.

Breakfast was buffet style and very filling and good with enough variety. I particularly liked the sea bream rice. There is even a soft serve ice cream machine!

The public bath in the hotel is nothing much to speak of, it is one long simple rectangular bath and it is completely enclosed so all the steam is trapped inside and it feels very hot and uncomfortable after a while. The water is very hot so I only spent a few minutes.

Location wise, I was trying to pick between seven x seven with its marvelous beach view and this place. I am glad I picked settle glocal, as it is much more cost effective and the location is more convenient for getting around town/the various attractions. Also the price included breakfast, and if you take your card key case over to Genki Club (the super public Onsen opposite), you get free entry.

Parking: the small parking lot in front of the hotel fills up very quickly, and if you get in late you have to park at P2, near their service apartment side. Then you have to walk down the slope in order to reach the hotel (you can also walk via a connecting corridor into the hotel and then take a lift down and then walk out again, but by this point you might as well have just walked down the slope anyway). This is probably the most annoying part about the hotel.

But all in all I would rank it as a good place to stay while in Itoshima, and wouldn’t mind...

The best and most lovely hotel, amazing front desk service, parking and even greeting as I parked my car and as I assembled my baggage to enter the foyer. Room large and most modern features with lovely country side view from the 4th (Top) floor. Centrally placed in Itoshima, close to Kyushu University, probably a bit of a hike to the closest train station, so taxi probably best option, but for car lover and driver like me, there are 3 parking lots adjacent or close to the hotel and parking is FREE!! Yay!!

Also for those digital nomads the speedtest with Ookla also showed 100Mbps Up/Down !!But I assume given Sunday afternoon the car parks were empty, it could get little congested if hotel is busy.. (Speed test...

First, you must be driving as it is in the countryside, and parking is free. It is spotless and new, with a great window view into its surroundings and very peaceful. After asking the reception, we had a surprise discovery: all hotel stayers can go to the opposite public bath houses and use them for free, men and ladies separate. It's worth going, free, so relax afterwards. It's an interesting batting experience if you have never tried it. There is a restaurant where hotel customers get a free drink or r dessert, as the whole area belongs to the same company. Breakfast is ok, more than enough to start your day, but breakfast is not included in...
