It was not my first time, but almost 20-year passed my previous visit. The place is worth visiting. Well-maintained facilities, dinner/breakfast and caring services by staff with very reasonable price. ||We thought the hotel is old and service was not enough as the price is cheap enough, but in fact that our initial expectation was wrong. ||I have stayed in many hotels and Japanese style ryokans for many times, I definitely recommend here if you want Japanese atmosphere with reasonably cheap price. You can upgrade the food and rooms but it would cost around 20,000...

Great service. The hotel as well as the room was a bit dated. I booked a plan with meals (dinner and lunch). Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were not good from taste perspective. I was expecting a nice kaiseki but it was very mid.

On the positive side, i really enjoyed the onsen. The outdoor onsen was amazing and the hotel also offer free dan dan men from 9pm.

There were a lot of chinese tourist groups in the hotel which made the place a bit more lively.

Pros: very kind and helpful staff. It is always easy to find a towel or any amenity you might need Convenient - plenty of food on site Traditional Japanese style rooms are quite unique

Cons: Photos look much nicer than reality Rooms have stains on the walls and plenty of dead bugs between the windowsills The hallways are disappointing - well fed spiders living in the corners with giant webs lining the lights
