I live in an urban jungle so I escape here to get some peace and tranquility. I was not disappointed.
Totally enjoyed the onsen, food (dinner is like fine dining) and the starry sky (precious to me as my city has light pollution so star gazing is impossible )
The temperature of the warm onsen is so comfortable I don't feel like leaving. The cold spring otherwise known as "cold plunge" is the "in" thing now in other countries, helps to soothe aching muscles and it's available here in the most natural form
Staying @ Daikisn also reminds me to practise mindfulness and slow living
Last but not least the young owner is very hard working and embodies the spirit of ikigai for preserving the traditions of onsen. The rest of his team is also very professional
