Akiyamahama Camping Ground — Hotel in Koriyama

July 2025 solo motorcycle trip over the long weekend. I arrived Thursday afternoon and it wasn't so crowded. Friday it got a little more crowded, and by Saturday afternoon it was packed and loud. Not surprising since it's free.

As others have mentioned, there are bathrooms, a kitchen area with water, and a place to leave your (sorted) trash. The water is apparently drinkable.

There's a 7-11 and a gas station about 10 minutes away, but for real grocery/dining options, you'll need to go the opposite side of Lake Inawashiro, where you'll find everything you need.

I was surprised by how quiet it was—until Saturday, when some people were really loud till late at night. Earplugs were helpful!

I went to Sunny Land, the onsen/community center nearby, for a bath. Only ¥200 and it was not crowded at all!

I was here in March which is the off-season. because of this the cooking area and the bathrooms were closed which you might find uncomfortable if you're not prepared. However these are the rules every year so I can prepared and a good result of the facilities being closed is that there are very few people. 大型二輪で訪れました 無料キャンプサイトになります。 季節は秋終盤、冬の前の11月です。

＜駐車場＞ キャンプサイトから道路を挟んで向かいに 砂利道ですが、広い駐車場があります。 バイクも基本はそこに停車しますが、中には沿道沿いに停める方もいます。 なかなかに車が通るので、沿道沿いに停める方は走行車の邪魔にならないよう要注意です。 無難に駐車場に停める方がアクシデントとかなく良いと思います。 もちろんキャンプサイト内に駐車は論外です。

＜キャンプサイト＞ 松林に囲まれた部分は地面が安定しており ペグダウンするには持って来いです。 ただ、この時期は上から木の葉やら落下してきます。 湖前は砂浜になり、ペグダウンしても 強風の場合抜けます。 無風の場合は問題ないです。

水場あり、かまどあり、トイレも水洗です 男子トイレは小が３つ、大が１つ（和式トイレ）になります。 紙が切れている可能性もあるので、持参した方が無難です。 女子トイレはすみませんが、未開の地なのでわかりません。 障害者用もあり、そこは洋式トイレなので座って出来ます。

＜周辺施設＞ コンビニありません。 対岸の猪苗代町へ向かう道中に１軒（車で約30分） 会津若松方面へ向かう道中に１軒（車で約15分） となります。

スーパーもありません。 対岸の猪苗代町にスーパーやホームセンターなど飲食店やらもあるので 買い物を済ませてから向かうと効率的だと思います。 自販機についても周辺をくまなく探していないため、無い認識です。

車で７分ほど白河方面に行くと飲食店などがある集落へ着きます ここが飲食店の最寄りになるかと思います。

＜総合評価＞ 何回も利用させていただいています。 施設には文句は無いです。無料ですし。 ただ、夜　周りが寝ているにも関わらず 声を大きくして会話する輩に毎回出くわします。 空気を読めない人が多いです。 周りを見てテント内の明かりが消えているなら、もう少し配慮すべきです。

ファミリーはあまり見かけず、ソロや２〜３名で来られる方が多いと思います。 湖畔は冷えるので、暖まれる様な装備を持って行くと良いと思います。
