Don't go there. I traveled Japan for 6 Weeks, only lovely hosts, Exsept for this one. I have low standards while traveling alone, but I felt so uncomfortable. The description on hostelworld is not accurate: No free bikes, there is only one Bike, it costs, and its so rusted the wheels barely turn. There is no shuttle (he said he would consider it for stays of 5 nights or more), only very limited parking. One intact restroom for all men (other one is broken). The showers are dirty and showering prohibited between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Signs like 'NEVER EVER TOUCH THIS' are everywhere. Kitchen dirty. The worst part was the old Snoopy bedsheets with the stains. Yuck. And the owner... He insulted me via Email after I wrote a review on Hostelworld, told me I had stolen food (lol) and occupied the bike for too long. Really paranoid. He is hostile towards his guests, I don't no why. I think he has a problem with foreigners. The other guests felt it as well, so the atmosphere was all in all bad. I don't know about the other reviews here and why it...
Read moreGreat affordable place to stay for quarantine in Japan. The owner first picked us up at Narita airport and drove us all the way to the hostel (and also to the nearest train station when we finished quarantine). Throughout our entire stay, the owner was very friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. For instance, since there were not much people staying at the hostel when my sister and I arrived there around 2 months ago, the owner kindly gave us a bigger room for us to quarantine at which was very thoughtful and kind of him to do so. The room, bathroom, kitchen was well-kept and clean and the amenities (free towels to use in the hostel, Wifi, A.C., bed, kitchen utensils and plates) were more than sufficient for the price. There are also two bikes available for the guests to use which I rode with my sister to buy groceries and food at a supermarket. (convenience store is nearby as well) Overall, a very pleasant experience and will definitely visit...
