We had a wonderful stay with Yoriko-san and her father. The idyllic countryside refreshes your mind and body and inspires you to be energetic and productive when you go back to city-life. The samurai house is over 100 years old, with traditional Japanese fireplace (irori hearth), and real samurai swords, bows, glaives. The wonderful hosts are the 26th generation of the family which lives here. Sleeping in this magnificent house and preparing and sharing dinner with the lovely host family was the most authentic Japanese experience I've ever had.
